You guys this is hella good!!! It’s my 3rd time making them and I shared them with my friends and family. My brother is so freaking picky but he had them and even came back for a second round 😂 that’s how good these are! Btw I made them with vegan protein the first time and they were bomb!
Looks good. I want to try this before buying the books, but I have a question (and please forgive me for being persnickety, but I'm weird about specifics in baking): when it says to divide it in half, it looks more like you baked 1/3 and saved 2/3 for the fudge. I don't know if the pans were just different sizes, but there definitely looked to be a lot more ganache leftover compared to the amount of cake. So, do you really divide it in half, or is there supposed to be less cake? Also, is the nutritional information based on a stack like you presented at the end with the ganache in between each layer, or for one layer with the ganache? Thanks! I really appreciate your response.
I think the second container was 4x6. Rather then, the 8x8 pan used for the cake. So, it just looked like more.

Could it work with pumpkin instead of sweet potato?
not sure - pumpkin tends to be a thinner consistency than sweet potato, so it may not firm up enough. I have heard a few readers being successful with pumpkin in this recipe, I just haven't tried it myself.
I followed the recipe and was left with a very strong taste and horrible aftertaste in my mouth. Idk what the overpowering taste was but I’m thinking it was the plain Greek yogurt. Is there some replacements to make the dessert not taste so strong?
You definitely shouldn't have a strong taste or aftertaste. The Greek yogurt does not add any flavor to the recipe. It may be from the brand of protein powder you used, or your sweet potatoes may have naturally not been very sweet. I always recommend tasting the batter before baking, and sweetening to taste if needed.
If I don't want to put the protein powder, is it alright?
It probably would affect the texture and flavor, but feel free to experiment.
how many pieces i should expect with those amounts of ingredients ?
I just put it in the oven, but yet the batter is awesome But my batter isn't as smoth as yours. It's more like shortcrust. Do you know, why or how that happend?
Just blend longer :)

Brittani V I use dark chocolate chips (although you are free to use whatever kind you like), and you can use dairy free yogurt or dairy free cream cheese.

olive oil, grapeseed oil or good old fashion butter.
Any other solid fat source such as ghee, butter, palm shortening, etc. I would not recommend using a liquid oil.
Would it work if I put 1/6 cup coconut oil and 1/6 cup apple sauce?

ok so I actually made this at home after seeing how delicious this looked, and it definitely tastes different, not like a bar of Nestle cookie dough, but it is actually good! it's so weird to think a dessert with navy beans and applesauce would taste good... and I hate vanilla protein powder. oh and I calculated the calories to check it and for me I ended up slicing it into 9 slices that were 177 cal each. you can't beat that. it's amazing. I'm gonna visit your website! thanks for this amazing, unusual recipe!

Kshitij Rawat her whole channel is based off protien desserts, but if u dont like that, than use flour instead of protien powder and it should taste the same
