Kaimuki Youth Development Organization - KYDO, Community Outreach.2019.

Communities across the State of Hawaii are coming together to help provide food/meals for families in need. Big Thanks to our local partners, volunteers, and supporters.

Since the beginning of May 2020, A small non-profit organization & the Kaimuki Football Program teamed up with local partners to help provide their community with food every Fridays. Now its the month of August and they're still continuing the blessings to more than 550 households with meals and produce.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kaimuki Football, volunteers, and local business partners came together to provide meals, dairy products, and fresh produce to families in need. They were able to feed 500 plus households while practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a group of organizations and volunteers came together as a community to supply and distribute food to families in need.

Season Highlights of 2019-2020. With just over 25 players in the Kaimuki Varsity Roster, they were able to dig deep within themselves and play with a lot of heart. On Oahu, The community came together for a major clean up at Palolo Valley District Park. More than two hundred volunteers representing ten organizations, cleaned the interior of the gym and painted the exterior of the building. They also picked up trash, cleared walk ways/court fences, and got rid of graffiti. The Event was hosted by Kaimuki Youth Development Organization.

On the field, they are great. Off the field, they are even greater. The 2018 Kaimuki Football Program had the privilege to give back to communities and experience a road trip of a lifetime.
