You showed pictures of other trans athletes including Nikki Hiltz. Surely you know by now that Hiltz identifies as non-binary transgender, was AFAB, and has never taken testosterone. There is no question that they are participating fairly in the women's category.

Slusser joined a preexisting class action lawsuit named Riley Gaines et. al. vs NCAA et. al. It is not a separate lawsuit. Slusser roomed with Fleming and two other women at SJSU and also roomed with Fleming on road trips. Slusser had no idea Fleming was trans despite rooming with her for months. Why should then the University be required to inform Slusser that she was trans? Should they also be required to inform other students if one is gay or lesbian? Asking the volleyball players not to out Fleming is a matter of respecting Fleming's privacy and should not be considered a "lack of transparency". Slusser estimated that Fleming's spikes were over 80mph, not that they were measured at that speed. The measured record for the men is 82mph so it is highly unlikely Fleming, with nowhere near the upper body musculature of an elite male volleyball player, can spike that hard. There is a presumption that any trans woman's participation in women's sport is unfair. This is incorrect. Firstly, the goal of a trans woman in reducing testosterone is to get in the typical female range. That, in itself, has major consequences that reduce a trans woman's athletic capabilities. In Fleming's case she transitioned very early and either never went through male puberty or only a small portion of male puberty. Why do you think that Slusser, after rooming with Fleming for months, could not tell she was trans? It is very likely Fleming's participation in women's volleyball is fair.
