Even if you immersed this armchair in bleach for a month there is no way I would ever feel comfortable enough to use in my home. This armchair would have to stripped down to the bare bones and completely reupholstered with brand new everything. You have shown your skills at how good your equipment is at cleaning the outside of the armchair of which is fantastic. Normal household dirt on fabric sofa cleaned by you would be just great, but this armchair with the maggots, no matter how good you make it look, I could never use it in my home. I could only use it to throw on top of a bonfire. If I sat on this armchair I would not be able to stop thinking about those maggots, im sure you understand, great job never the less. 👍😁🙋

I much prefer the sound of the machine and work being done instead of music played over it.

Honestly? I preferred the granddaughter's version, it looked like a high end art chair you'd pay thousands of dollars for. Still, it looks great cleaned up, too. I just think Grandma wa a bit quick to remove the girl's artwork that way. I do see both sides of it, though. But I'd want it the first way!

Prob took longer to get it fake dirty than it did to clean. At least they admit it’s fake in the description. But they should be transparent in the video itself.

This is the exact reason why my grandmother's furniture was vinyl and my mother she wouldn't allow us in the living room where the good furniture was. Although if it was my chair, I would've just reupholstered it because I know how to do that. It's actually the pattern underneath all that paint hideous anyway.

Amazing job cleaning it up 👏 I honestly love both states of the chair lol when it was painted it looked like it could belong in artist's house and after it was cleaned it belonged right in a mid century livingroom. Love it ❤

With 8-12 hours labor this must have cost the customer a fortune! I don’t understand the business model here. The customer still has a chair that many of us would not sit on. And my last thought is how does a chair get the same amount of grime on every square inch?

I think given the condition of the fabric underneath, I probably would have reupholstered it. Or just kept it as a conversation piece and shown it off with pride: "Yup, that's right, my grandkids made that!"

While I don't necessarily believe the story (those stickers came off way too easy)) I really enjoyed watching the cleaning, & subscribed

To everyone calling BS, the video description actually says ‘for demonstration purposes’ aka ‘we’ did this to a chair to show you what can be done. A truly horrible chair after it’s cleaned but I don’t think it’s particularly dishonest compared to some of the laughably bad cleaning or restoration videos presently on RUclips. It’s an advert for his business, nothing more, nothing less.

It looked better painted, but was not functional as a chair. Glitter is the herpes of the craft world. Honestly I would have just replaced the chair fabric entirely.

You have to wonder how long the children were left unattended for as that would have taken a long time to do. So I'd be sending the cleaning bill to whoever didn't watch the girls.

Awesome machine! It would’ve been an even more amazing vid if we got to watch you (“two lil girls”) paint the chair before restoring it. Your once-upon-a-time intro story doesn’t ring true to anyone who has ever done art with real human children. Or ever seen the art of real human children. This chair is just not done in a style real children would do. Every sticker and symbol added in one direction. And the paint so thoroughly covering the fabric in even layers. Children stick to zones, leave large areas untouched while their zones are heavily layered by comparison. Children ignore tidy spacing of symbols and letters. Their messages are often crooked, tightly spaced, and grouped too close. However that doesn’t detract from the project in the least! Nobody should fault you for creating cool content. It would’ve still been so awesome to see you add the paint before using the steam extractor. The whole process would be watchable.

If it would have felt nice with the paint, I would prefer it that way, but it looked as if sitting on it and touching it would have been an unpleasant experience unfortunately.
