Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts! I get where you're coming from-Rogues had their moments of being strong throughout WoW's history, especially back in 2004. But things have evolved a lot since then with all the expansions, class balance changes, and new metas. In PvP, winning really comes down to knowing your class and your opponent's class well, and playing to your strengths. Warriors, for example, can absolutely wreck rogues if they catch them out or survive the initial burst. It’s not just about one class being OP-it’s also about strategy and skill in how you play. But I totally appreciate your point, and the nostalgia of those early days of WoW is always fun to remember! Thanks again for the comment!

I just avoid PvP realms now. If I didn't want to be attacked while minding my own business then I all I have to do is not flag up.

Is it the guy that is naked and grey dagger beating geared people? If that's it, then I know it. If I remember correctly though , not sure, that guy only engaged when he had all cooldowns and thistle tea to be able to finish those guys off. Which isn't the case here. Sometimes I didn't have cooldowns at all. Though not all the fights we had are present in the video. I only put less than half in here to not drag it too much

in a rough situation maybe, but a blue rogue shouldn't be such a harsh situation.

What's wrong with that option besides the obviously clunky mechanic ?

I mean it sucks you got batched on the vanish but with how long sap lasts in classic all you needed to do was run up to the rich thorium vein, pop prep to reset your blind and start mining. If he trinkets you instant blind and continue mining. Second option the second you got your sap off you should have sat down to eat or used bandages to top yourself off rather than starting the fight with 60% hp compared to his 100% hp

@@lilbeartv9039 with the first part I do not agree. Sap does last long only on paper. sometimes it lasts super little and the timing is random. it shows 21 seconds for example, but it's not that long. so I avoid doing that. I used to do that coming from TBC where sap is trustable in that way, but did exactly what you said in the second part and it just ends, they stealth and reopen on me. I could have bandaged maybe, 3/4 of a bandage, with that part I agree. and i even eat some times but I do it extra short like 2-3 seconds max, or I eat in the blind into another sap once again. I got burned so many times with the inconsistency on sap that I do not trust it anymore to do that. In tbc or after, sure, I eat all the way, double sap even and get a few ticks of food on the second 5 sec sap. But vanilla it's 50-50 if you are not lucky. Technically (what was in my mind at the time) I did not eat because in my eyes I would have finished him from the combo I did, another opener with cheap and cold blood 5 points eviscerate, and maybe if needed a blind. but the vanish betrayed me. as it happens all the time in this patch. honestly, I can't wait for vanilla to end on my server and that we go into tbc. there's where I play well. in vanilla I get betrayed by so many random things because I am not familiar with it. also ,you say about him using trinket. medallion of the horde, in vanilla only removes fear, poly or charm for rogues. not any other stuns and slows...for other classes it does remove stun, but not for rogue. medallion is different for each class.

can you tell me what is the difference in your view? it's not helping me play or casting for me moving for me, or anything. it just displays players in proximity whenever they cast a spell or use an ability. it's such a far fetch to call this cheating. It's the same as calling someone a cheater for using Gladius (enemy trinket information) in Arena, or OmniCC or any other addon that displays information that you do not generally have access to. I do not agree with your stance.

@@riftparadise let me put it to you a different way, person A has no addons and PvPs normally using his own skill and own senses and timing to detect other players both in and out of stealth. Person B installs a lazy addon and detects person A from 20 miles away using none of his skills or perception and easily finds person A to kill him. Which person do you think has an advantage and which player is fighting fairly. Its cheating plain and simple...but cheaters are often so convinced what they are doing is normal that they cant see the truth before them.

@@wayne20uk ok let's put the spy addon aside for a momnt because I am trying to understand more precisely what you think. what's your opinion on Gladdy/ Gladius that shows you the trinket cooldown, diminishing returns and important CD cooldowns. also weakauras that type in chat for you when you are CC-ed or when the person uses trinket. or other addons that track important cooldowns or CCs. what 's your stance on that ? should we all just uninstall them because it's cheating because we do not memorize and time cooldowns, or should we use them and they are ok ?

@@riftparadise you are missing the point, you cant call yourself good at a game if you need assistance, it would be like a cod player using aim assist and 3rd party addons and hacks during a match and then bragging how they are the worlds best. And yes in pvp instances they are also cheating, in pve not so much but if its for a competitive edge then yes again cheating.

this kind of thing never happened in TBC, WOTLK or CATA, because it doesn't make any sense. it's clearly a clunky mechanic specific to vanilla. I also got one where i was fighting another rogue and we both kydney shot-ed at the same time, and we were just there stunned looking at each other. once again, this never happened in other expansions. it doesn't make any sense. one has to be the first, like in this situation. If I vanished, he shouldn't have been able to blind. If he Blinded me, I shouldn't have been able to Vanish. It's just logic.

@@riftparadise It's called "Spell batching" which is different in classic. Google it to educate yourself and see how it works :)

I have no problem calling it outplayed when I am . This is clearly a buggy mechanic specific to vanilla that was fixed in later expansions. it doesn't make any sense if you think about it.

bad as of recently. SWP came in almost 6 months ago. Like 1 month ago population abruptly dropped. They fixed it for the moment by merging horde and alliance in regards to dungeon and bg (you can do dungs with opposite faction and thre are mixed teams in bg) but even so if you walk around the map it feels way more empty. I started a new char on Warmane Onyxia - its currently in Vanilla and it will go up to WOTLK with progressive realm. Naxxramas is released soon and in a couple of months TBC starts. if you wanna play TBC I suggest this server instead, not the one from the video. Thanks for watching

hmm what are those ? i tried guild wars and honestly i don't like it as much as wow. maybe because I am used to wow. i don't know others. oh, I played tera a bit which was a cooler version of wow, loved the targeting system, but that game is gone now...so. I honestly don't know better mmos than wow, though I am not so up to date with the mmo world, so I am curious what you think it's better than wow.

They initially stayed and wanted to kill me. simulated leaving and tryin to draw me out of stealth to kill, let the mage alone as bait and then returned when I popped out. i think they enjoyed just as much as i did. when they didn't anymore, they left. stop thinking everybody is you.

@@riftparadise 100% agree, tho I generally don't like gankers if you stay there and fight them you can't talk shit 😂 and you right they definitely left mage as bait and played along. No harm done here imo. There are actual ppl who just have fun by killing low lvl ppl trying to quest over and over as max lvls which is a lot more despicable than this where they have an actual choice to just leave.

Yes, and also they were 3. Even if the gear difference is clear, I couldn't kill all 3 and they had a big shot at killing me multiple times. I was lucky a lot. Hell I couldn't kill even 1 of them because they protected each other and because at one point I critted 250 big yellow damage hemo lol (the game is trolling me) on a clother

TBC was released in January 2007. Patch release is absolutely irrelevant in the context. I was not implying that the video is from 2007. I was just playing and doing stuff that people were doing back then purely for fun without any item gains, achievements, etc because the game was still new and felt fresh and exciting.

@@riftparadise Your gear is from patch 2.4.3 originally released year 2008. Non was pvp'ing year 2007 in brutal gear in Terokkar Forest, because this gear wasn't available before 2008. Having 'fun' of bulling almost entirely pvE geared ppl in Terokkar Forest is what I see in your video. Your concept of 'fun' is basically harassing pvE geared guys in Terokkar Forest with your brutal pvp gear.

so you would be satisfied and your mind would relax if instead of 2007 in the title, it would be 2008? In order to keep everything accurate, right ?

hehe, I heard there's a private that just opened. started from classic going through every expansion till the end of wotlk . it's either about to go in tbc or just in very at the beggining. not sure : Warmane Onyxia. I can't recommend my server anymore because the content is done. population slowly dropping

I'm lvl 42 already. i'm broke though can't get a mount. vanilla seems different to me from multiple points of view that I don't like, like gold making, poisons having stacks and only 30 mins, stealth working differently, very differently if you ask me (im subtelty and lvl 42 and a 38 paladin scooped me out of stealth like I was lvl 20 - so annoying). onlu 90% shot to remain stealth after sap and sap having the shortest distance ever, blind costing me approximatley 50 silver / use and stuff like that which is breaking my heart. I am at a point where I am so broke where in pvp I just don't use blind because I'm poor. I'm at 30g raising 100g to get my mount lol

@@riftparadise I feel you man, I was in the same boat. I actually have 3 clients up at a time when i play now to alt tab in between different things. Normally gathering on 1, waiting in RDF on the other, and the other is half afk auto attacking furbolgs since they're a good easy way to make gold in winterspring. Literally auction everything too. You can also alt tab to make lvling easier, lvl 2 chars at once as well. Spread the word on warmane, it's gonna be a blast!

LOL. you are creative to do that. i do have client problems tho, I can barely keep one up with it working (when the game decides to, it resets my resolution and acts like I opened it the first time, and can't connect to the server - I get infinite "Connecting". what i did today to fix the gold problem was to lvl my proffs: i am already 225 fishing and cooking. 200 engi and mining . i plan to make gold from fishing, cooking and mining. May God help us all on that difficult land . I joined Stormforge yesterday a bit and told people about Onyxia. maybe they join too.

Hehe. I feel you and thanks for watching . Though I am generally a bully and I love ganking AND being ganked as much. I have a video where, at level 62, I was killing 70s. Or, if I wasn't able to kill them, I was at least bullying them lol.

On the server I play there is an npc. This npc allows me to change racials, with a huge cooldown like a week or so :)) I like this mechanic

Can you please tell me what you would like to see more specifically? for the moment, I indeed only played GTA 4, GTA 5 , lol and as of recently wow - which is a new game on the channel. Lol - I won't play anymore because I no longer like the game. I am open to playing other games if there are suggestions.:D

In the future I will play other games as well as I am the kind that gets bored relatively quick and needs novelty. For the moment I am very glad that I rediscovered world of warcraft and I am not yet bored of it, love this game :D
