I have been making, and using them, for well over 20 years. Never had to use that many tools, or as much work to make one. Looks good, but I'll stick to my own way. I've been around woodworking of various types since I was 7, am 83 now, so likely I know a few things you don't. But keep it up.

मस्तच... अत्यंत सुरेख.. I was disappointed with the walking sticks available in mumbai, so wanted to make one for my mother.. I won't be going your way though.. I will just make a single piece handle, make a hole in it and put the single piece stick into it by chiseling out its top. Will carve the stick later. But yours is surely what I wish to make someday. God bless you brother. I use tung oil/pure flaxseed oil/ bees wax etc. to finish my wood crafts, what did you use here ?

Thanks 😊 I used butcher block oil to finish it. Handle is Burma teak I believe. And stick is CP teak. I had bought a very old table from OLX long ago. Used wood from that table for this. Do share your project once done. All the best.
