Such a beautiful walking stick and an absolutely dynamite self defense weapon in the trained hands.👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks a lot. Never thought of it as a weapon though 😁
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much!
I have been making, and using them, for well over 20 years. Never had to use that many tools, or as much work to make one. Looks good, but I'll stick to my own way. I've been around woodworking of various types since I was 7, am 83 now, so likely I know a few things you don't. But keep it up.
Thank you sir :). Glad to see a veteran commenting. I am hobbyist woodworker and yet to learn many things.
Perfecto

Thanks for the info. I got the inspiration for this nameplate from one of the pins on Pinterest
Wood name please
I used pine wood for this
Very nice work and u don’t have a workshop full of power tools. I liked seeing a nice outcome and minimal tools. Inspires me to make one. Thanks!
Thanks ☺️
Thanks for showing me that I need to glue the mirror first. I'm really glad that you didn't try to hide it and do some camera magic.
Glad it was helpful!
How did it become magnetic?
I have added 2 small magnets in the sheath. Missed that part in the video.
This is just amazing!
Thanks 😊
Hi, I am trying to do the same thing. What do you use at the minute 7:44?
That is PU finish. I used Asian Paints water based clear PU
Which wood you used for this sir
It’s Pine wood
@@DIYWithBhairav thanks for the information and motivation

Very2 good job sir.. Thank for the video...
رائع جدا . أحسنت
Thanks
मस्तच... अत्यंत सुरेख.. I was disappointed with the walking sticks available in mumbai, so wanted to make one for my mother.. I won't be going your way though.. I will just make a single piece handle, make a hole in it and put the single piece stick into it by chiseling out its top. Will carve the stick later. But yours is surely what I wish to make someday. God bless you brother. I use tung oil/pure flaxseed oil/ bees wax etc. to finish my wood crafts, what did you use here ?
Also pls tell me which wood you used for body..
Thanks 😊 I used butcher block oil to finish it. Handle is Burma teak I believe. And stick is CP teak. I had bought a very old table from OLX long ago. Used wood from that table for this. Do share your project once done. All the best.
Hey, here is the stick I made.. ruclips.net/video/8axbOeSbr7E/видео.html

Awesome...can I know where can I get these pinewood planks
Thanks 😊 Where do you live? Search at timber shops in your city. Here in Pune there are few shops that I know who deal only in pine wood.
@@DIYWithBhairav I stay in bangalore..have walked 2 nearest Timbers store need to buy large plank size...Thnx for reply
@@konjetiswathi6399 try searching on indiamart. you will find one.
@@DIYWithBhairav which glue and wood stain do you use for wood? Thanks for the amazing tutorial :)
@@manndoodles373 thanks. I use Fevicol SH. Very famous wood glue brand here. I have used MRF stain. They have a variety of shades available.
What kind of glue did you use? And nicely done!
Thanks. I used rubber based glue just to keep both the pieces together while working. Any glue will work. It was for temporary hold.
@@DIYWithBhairav Thank you. Yes but it is important for the glue to fail with heat, but I guess you are right, any normal glue will work. I will try household glue or maybe super glue.
Not every glue is heat resistant. So you should be fine. All the best. Do share your video
