Yes, Sintra was an incredible day trip from Lisbon, and definitely was a highlight of my trip! Glad to share as always and glad that you enjoyed it! 😊 I've been wanting to go there for awhile now since I've seen the photos from Sintra before, so it was a big inspiration for this trip. This palace complex and the nearby estate called Quinta da Regaleira (which I'll premiere tomorrow) are just otherworldly.

Yes, I've always enjoyed traveling and exploring and learning about different places I haven't been to before, and I'm grateful for having started this channel as it's motivated me even more to do that, both sharing my experiences, motivating others, and reliving all the trips I've taken. That's why I usually try to visit interesting places that I haven't been to before or don't know much about. I still have a couple weeks worth of videos from Portugal left to upload as I was able to collect a ton of content from this trip! So whenever you have time, maybe over the holidays, I hope you get the chance to enjoy them and maybe inspire a trip of your own someday. It was an amazing experience exploring and learning about that country these past few weeks.

Hope you enjoy it! There's actually a number of different trails you can do in that park, and I only picked this one because it was a quick and scenic one I could do (since I had a couple other walks scheduled the same day), that also ended at an airport, which is something I haven't seen during any hike I've done before. Not too many people there either, even during fall foliage season.

I'm sure I will enjoy it! Will definitely check out the other trails too. Another cool place in that area of NJ is Ken Lockwood Gorge. The only problem is that parking spots are pretty scarce there, especially during weekends, but it's worth a try.

Yes, 100% agree that Ken Lockwood Gorge is incredible! I went there in fall 2020 (right before I started this channel), but I'll need some convincing to go back there because I got hit with a parking ticket there last time 😂

Thanks! Yeah it's located in the NW corner of New Jersey in Sussex County, a part of the state that's less frequently visited. It's a lot quieter and more rural up in that area than in the rest of the state.

True - I didn't know that there was actually another "Franklin" in NJ, but I do know that there are at least three different "Washington Townships" in the state, so yes it can be confusing!

Thanks for watching! Glad this video brought back some nice memories from your vacation. I have been to the 9/11 Memorial too before but still haven't visited the Museum yet. I agree, it can definitely be a pretty heavy place to visit emotionally, and I think they've done a fine job of beautifully reconstructing the site while paying respect to the victims of 9/11.

Yup, the Old Navy just closed. Some of my coworkers (I don’t work at this location, but another one 40 minutes away in this district) came to this location to help close. They moved merchandise to nearby stores. The mall just looks miserable and sad. I saw videos of the mall 5 years ago, and it looked NOTHING like this at all.

​@@elijahtorres2688and 5 years ago, it was a dead mall. But compared to today, it was thriving in 2019. I will be *shocked* if this mall makes it past 2025. Especially in the horrible trump economy.

Thanks for the suggestion, and yes I've thought about it, but it just never felt right to me. I want my videos to be enjoyed subjectively and immersively by the viewer from a first person point-of-view and just let the video speak for itself without me talking over it or adding my opinions and commentary on top of the video, which I feel like it would take away from the immersion. That being said, I do agree with you and as a viewer, I personally find channels with commentary like vlogs enjoyable to watch too, but as a creator, it just never felt like the type of content that I wanted to put out there.

If you have a car, I think it should be pretty easy, though I was there on the weekend during this video. Maybe during weekday rush hours I-95 could have a lot of traffic, though I don't live there so I don't know for sure how congested it is. If you don't have a car, there's a MetroNorth train station downtown that can get you into NYC pretty quickly. This town is right in the middle of the Westchester suburbs though, so I imagine having a car would be a lot easier.

@@walkingdrivingincognito Thank you I won't have a car unfortunately I will probably use the MetroNorth train station I have had a little look on Google maps as well. I would like to see the Fire Department I'm quite interested in vehicles across the world.
