Mini Excavator Carry All / Tool Caddy

Come along as I weld up a carry all for our mini excavator. When working on the far side of our ranch I often find myself looking for a quick way to get back to the Main Lodge. What better than for me to be able to take a set of wheels with me. Or perhaps I need to take a chainsaw, chain, shovel, and fuel with me. This carry all will allow me to take whatever I need with me when working out bac...

Sometimes during humid days I get bat wings
Your technique with the bucket make it look so easy. Must have taken a lot of practice. Nice!
Ty... Hundreds of hours in the seat!
Your lawn is beautiful!! Nice and green!
Ty... Lots of weed and feed and irrigation.
Just stayed there this past weekend. What an awesome place and host! Thanks for having us Ari...!
Happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our ranch. We enjoy sharing it with friends.
Does this mean were famous??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes... you are now officially famous!
@@edwardscreekranch lol.. great day the children loved it. 😊
Now that is a must have!
It makes trail maintenance so much easier...
Never knew there was one of these for a skid steer. I have seen the sickle bar attachment for hedges.
We built it ourselves. Thats why you dont see them. Check our other videos for the build.
What no commentary?
This video requires no commentary. That beast speaks for itself!
Great idea! Far more durable than anything that’s on the market and it seems much more efficient!
Tx... the build was a success. But that rc brush mower of yours is very intriguing... Nice video.
@@edwardscreekranch thanks
Still love the music. I’d be interested in seeing how you turn at the end of your rows.
Some times you just have to SEND that mini bike!
Stay healthy bud. Im ready to see that brush cutter in action. 👍👍
'Promo sm'
It's OK but should have bought a Laneshark it works alot better..
crazy music
Looks to me like those hoses sticking out past the grapple on the left would be susceptible to getting snagged when working in a tight place. I just use a screen door spring to keep everything pulled up out of the way.
Looks like something that should be taking out walkers' in the walking dead.
What kind of welder/wire do you use and why? Can you show settings in a future video?
What are you doing to my root rake
You just need some more zip ties that's all
Nicely done, I like the simplicity of your design. Now you need to find a way to add a tool caddy like one of these. ruclips.net/video/OjWScSva5C0/видео.html
what you have never seen a sickle bar mower and it is made to do it , lot of work and money for nothing ,have a good day,the smart guy from queensland australia
This is cheaper and faster than any sickle.
Our County Road Crew uses similar commercial built vertical mower. It does make fast work at clearing overhanging limbs. The problem is this type vertical mowers leave a nasty mess of "beat to hell" stubble that is an eyesore for months after the cut.
County went by here 3 weeks ago... ugh!
, I'm just going to guess and say you must have a horrible access across the ranch but why not just trailer the machine to where you're going and drive back
We could trailer, but mini bikes are fun! Just another option.
@@edwardscreekranch agree😄
Florida DoT as well as my local township use machines with basically this same kind of mower on an articulated boom that lets them do the same thing. The township uses a really wild machine that almost looks like an insect. Just wanted you to know that you're approach isn't too crazy. Great job on the fabrication and using it to clear the trails!
Thanks!
Can anyone say "Andrew Camarata"? lol, very nicely done!
Lol... He inspires many. Thanks!
Looks similar to a lane shark but a lot beefier and a fraction of the cost! Great job
Very true! Thanks,
This is what you get when you take the "NEVER DO THIS" list out of the safety manual, and then you build a machine to DO all the things on the list. Never mow with the deck raised. Check! Never mow what you can't see. Check! Never defy gravity. Check! Never over-speed the mower. Oh heck yeah! Awesome. Love it.
Lol... Safety Third! You win #1 comment of the day!
Cut the music, I find it irritating. Rather hear the shop noise.
That was great well done bravo from Victoria Australia
Thank you
That is by far the most dangerous thing you've built yet that's awesome
Ty dymeboy
This is what you call adapt and over come the easy way. I think its a brilliant idea.
And it works! Ty
Suggest cover the side where those blades are when not in use.
How about the tall multi sawblade contraption they use with helicopters to clear powerlines?
Just need the helicopter 1st... hmmm
I can see a lot of potential in that thing, potential for harm 😬
On something like that you just have to be careful and really watch what your doing. Have a great day be safe
Hence Stand Back!
Pretty Awesome!
Thanks!
@@edwardscreekranch did you notice the "moak tree" reference in his username
Lol... pretty sneaky
genius
Im flattered... ty
What hydraulic motor did you use and where did you get it?
The motor came from Surplus Center (surpluscenter.com). I used the 7.63 cu in PTO Motor item #9-7368-125 $400.00. Shipped to me within 4 days. Our skid steer flows at 17gpm. Working just fine so far.
Hydro power from your waterfall next?
Great minds think alike. That is in the long term plans.
Andrew Camarata will sue you for being a copy cat, but he will forgive you when i see your idea that is much better then his for removing the branches on the side of the trail :D
I could only hope Andrew even sees this. Plus if he sues perhaps I get to meet him...lol Tx for the compliment.
Anyone can build it but doubt you can legally sell it. I still want one!!! Great Video
lol.... I wanted one too... ur turn to build one.
I like it and would want 1 too.
Great job, right tool for every job
Thanks for noticing James...
Remember the movie Fargo?
Dance man!
Ive got rhythm!
Do you sleep? Or lay awake at night solving these problems?😊
I dream my way through these issues
We just built a towbar and a front receiver on our Honda Ranchers for the exact same reason. Just to far to walk back when out and about with the equipment. Great video. Check out our video of the way we do it
Just watched your tow bar video... Great Idea. I may have to steal that one as it seems to do the job quite well. Keep Building!
Awesome. Love it.
Does the Job... Ty!
Looks like they done miss many meals
Where’s your Olight?
Love the table!
