Seems like most people think any boat with a staysail is a cutter. Incorrect! A cutter is a rig where the mast is equal distance from the bow and the stern. Has nothing to do with an inner stay.⚓

Very nice boat I like the custom work very unique. Some harsh comments… To me it’s impossible to see another person’s vision in a boat so much is dreaming and if you’re happy that’s what matters. Best part about boat life is thinking out of the box. Love these tours very interesting what people dream up…

Too bad they ruined a very beautiful classic yacht. If true being hull #1, Hatteras made huge engineering updates that I would look for hull #10 and later…. Their asking price is so over the top with a hatchet job in the front berth. Too bad as it seems to be very top heavy. Just my thought from someone who owns a later model 58’ yacht fish.

Nice boat. I love the interior wood finishes, but this boat is absurdly overpriced for a 1981 with its original 8v71Ti motors (which were already obsolete in 1981). Cruising at 14 knots at 70 mph is no bueno. At this price point, one can buy a much newer, faster, and more efficient boat.

Not a naval architect, but I wonder about this boat being top heavy…

I watched the owner's video on this boat from 3 months ago. He has done a beautiful job on this boat. It does hurt that it does not have a water maker or thrusters.
