Saw her this past December in Galveston, and after every song there was just a silence in which everyone in the small, hole in the wall bar was stunned and in awe of the power and emotion that came out of this petite woman, as if we were holding our breaths, waiting to exhale while her voice still reverberated off the cracked walls.
