Steering response is to slow for me too, and the grip off road with off road tyres feels too low too. If centre mass is forward of the centre of the car it induces a lot of understeer and if centre mass is behind the centre of the car , it oversteers massively, but because of the slow steering its impossible to counter steer and catch any drifts, which means you just spin out. The strength of the connections are a bit weak too, imo. A small bump and your vehicle starts to disintegrate. Especially any parts that sit forward of the vehicles front wheels and behind the rear wheels. The camera is just not intuitive. Its a good game and has loads of potential, adding the ability to make your own checkpoint races to share and have leaderboards would be a fantastic addition. This message turned out longer than i intended. looking forward to the next update. I hope things improve. Thanks Khi, i'll see in the next one. 😁👍

I agree this game needs more time in the oven. I was having fun at first, but quickly got tired of building around the mechanics to make the game feel the way I wanted. Unless you hit the jackpot on a build, or spend days making a mechanically complicated monstrosity, it's hard to keep any amount of control and you have to make something different for almost every vehicle you make. I got excited about the new camera stuff when that update came along, but I expected better options; like a strict follow camera that wasn't dynamic, it just stays center so you can see where you're facing and what's coming. Anyway, given time I hope this game keeps growing. At some point I'll pick it back up and enjoy it some more.

I didn't like it at all for a long time, I retried it recently though and am loving it! DEEP, interesting, a lot to learn! 8/18/24. The game probably isn't for everyone though, my kind a game. I also really liked X3.

This game has a ton going on: hundreds of refining/crafting recipes, (and even more ingredients), multiple factions to have relationships with and do missions for, countless ways to make money(farming, trading, crafting valuables, selling illegal goods, etc.), huge battles/looting in space, bounties, grinding S-class, X-class, and illegal sentinel upgrade tech pieces for your exosuit, starship, multi-tool, freighter, and exocrafts, base building, and so much more, and on top of that there isn't a single loading screen(I don't count the animation it locks you into when warping between systems, obviously its a loading screen but it fits so well I'm not mad about it). I can take off from a planet, fly to the space station, land, buy something, and go back to the planet with 0 loading screen or waiting. I'll admit, it isn't the most beginner friendly game out there, but if you get the hang of it, it's totally worth it imo, I have saves with 50-100 hours on them and I still have long to-do lists on them of things to grind for. If you get stuck the wiki does a good job helping you find where to get items you need. And you can do all of it seamlessly with a friend in multiplayer, my friend and I have a base next to each other on the same planet.
