How does this mount to you dash console? Is there a base plate under the console that spreads the stress that the mounting bolts go through? Is it hard to lift my HB 12 up with the horizontal arm while on the water so I can get into my glove box? Please advise.

When we were out with you last August you mentioned having fished with the Black Ice. I need to get my hands on one of these rods, but I don’t believe they are in production as TW doesn’t have them in stock. If it can get better than the White Ice they will have done something big. Thanks for the info. But i just picked up the Terex spinning rod 7ft medium power new for $90 clearance. Love the feel of the rod but im hoping to use it for 1/8oz - 5/16 oz shaky heads mainly and as well as drop shotting. Do u think this rod will be perfect for me or should i went with MH power for the shakys???

they should be made with elaztech thats one thing i dont like about strike king baits is they are expensive and they dont hold up well but mad do they catch fish so i still use them

I don't know if you remember but i met you at the classic this year i am 13 and i bought a micro magic pro cranking rod and a terex frog rod. I was with my dad, but anyway, i appreciated the help picking out rods at the duckett booth. you should do a boat tour soon.

that Terex rod would look awesome if it had a black grip instead of a cork... that cork ruins that rod look wise.

Do you know if the mmp 7'10 xh will be able to handle 8" or larger swimbaits like the Huddleston deluxe or big baits in the 4- 8 oz range?

That fish didn't "smoke" anything. First of all, fish live underwater. Smoking would be impossible! Second off, it was skin hooked on the corner of the lip, meaning it was purely reaction and nothing aggressive.
