Whiplash and Seven are two of the most overrated films of all time.

Some of these are my favorites too. I didn’t see any Akira Kurosawa films on your list. Did I miss them? Have you seen these films: A Face in the Crowd(1957) Ikiru(1952) any Kurosawa film really. Touch of Evil(1958) Man Facing Southeast(1986) The Quiet Earth(1985) The Thin Red Line(1998) Casualties of War(1989)
I will add all of these to my favorites. I recently viewed the film “Seven Samurai” which immediately rocketed onto my list, and Ikiru is absolutely one of my most anticipated. Thanks for the recommendations!

I may be late but I have something IMPORTANT to share I think Anakin reminds me of satan. Satan/The devil used to be an angle and he was so sweet and kind but then he thought he was better than God and he could overthrow him… only leading him to a deep and dark path

Holy Hell it’s like this guys never watched a movie. Did you get scared when the pictures started moving? Dude the garbage store called they want their opinions back. I didn’t even get past the first 30 seconds after I realized how wrong he was gonna be. 1/10 blocked.

The Prestige? Yes, I absolutely adore that movie. One of Nolan’s best and underrated.
ive always loved the idea that darth vader is kinda like a big shadow for anakin. They are separate entities yes, but him committing evil is more easily swallowed when he is layered in cold cybernetics and heavy armor. Vader is scary because he is the visualization of inhuman. Which is far from the truth. The chance for there to be good in him makes him scarier. If he doesn't rejoin the good, he just gets rage filled that you tried to tempt him.
