Hey please answer a few questions. 1 do you keep a/c 2 die you use a custom harness or factory plug and play .3 new ecu correct any codes

This is awesome! I have a 2014 ATS 2.5. I got it because I drive 100 miles a day for work right now and the 27 mpg on regular gas is a life saver. But as soon as I move back to the beach I'll be able to walk to work and I'll have a garage to do a swap. Do you have any links to a build thread? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sounds great so far man. Keep up the good work.
jmsparks333 unfortunately no thread on this build I was too busy working on it. Lol but to get the car to the point of the video it took 4 weeks it did get finished to the point it just needed a tune. But for other reasons the motor and trans will go on another project
I'm just thrilled to see that the engine fits and you're able to get her running. No one in the ATS community wants to try this swap because it hasn't been done more than once or twice. My plan is to get an LS engine and 5-6 speed transmission and build it till it's ready to go in. If I hit any brick walls and need help can I message you and pick your brain a little? Once I'm ready to actually do this swap I won't need to drive the car because I live/work a few blocks from work. So I won't have any strict deadlines and I'll be able to get it done right. All I really need is for the a/c to work but I'm sure I could get more than that seeing as how they're both GM products. I have some mechanic experience on all sorts of cars and aircraft and I love doing things like this. I'd rather build a fast car than buy one and get a tune and bolt ons and have the same 2.0 or ATS-v everyone else has... Anyways, thanks for the video and the hope :). Keep posting videos if you keep this set up for any amount of time and if you could make a kit I bet you could sell them all day. ATS owners love the 3.6 TT in the V but there's a lot of us that want more than that. I'll even help you promote it and spread the word on the forums and FB pages. Let's do it! @@jmsparks333I have a 3.6 ATS all-wheel drive and my plan is to do a 6.2 supercharger swap and then add additional 200 400 horsepower to the car. the ATS is my first car and I'm 18
@@rabyboy2844 I’m not sure why ATS guys normally hate on any kind of swap, but I’m all for it. I think an LS would make a lot of sense. Tag me in your build and I’ll help any way I can.

midnightstalkerman it was finished just needed to do coolant plumbing and a tune. But unfortunately the owner ran out of finances, and I tore the harness and got ready to pull the engine, this set up might end up somewhere else

I just blew up a built 2.0t in my 2014 AWD and have a 6.2 and Lsa charger with a 6l80. Did you have to cut the firewall or trans tunnel to fit?
Russell Spence I used a 6l90 and did not have to cut the fire wall or trans tunnel
Ubaldotattoos what year ats? Did you just use 6.2 motor mounts or What? Guess I'll need a 2wd cross member as well. Was it plug and play or did ya have splice in the wiring harness? Thanks for.the info
Russell Spence I made my own motor mounts and also ran a Gm performance stand-alone with a zero gravity trans harness and took old engine harness completely out and spliced everything in to make it all work including gauges
Since you ended up pulling the motor out, would you still have the mounts you made? Possibly for sale?

It was just a Connecticut car but I’m based out of Long Beach ca.
