When I was a young trumpet player I worked in a local band that played dance music in the clubs around Chicago. My band opened for these guys twice. Once at George’s Show Lounge and then the Bitter End. This band was great. The crowd was standing on their seats by the end of their shows. Watching them was an education in what a show band was all about.

Fun fact: There’s a band called The Buckinghams and they were managed by the same producer of this band (Daughters Of Eve), Carl Bonafede!
