Honestly, I think this cover sounds better than the real thing. I think that the original PCB version of Necrofantasia is one of the most overrated Touhou songs out there. The techno doesn't mesh well with PCB's sounfont, and while later versions of the song are much better (AoCF version my beloved), IMO I think the original isn't anything super special. Ran's grandiose orchestra in Necro-Fantasty hits way harder for me than Yukari's techno. This. This is peak. It sounds so much less clunky with the piano, and I think that if the original Necrofantasia had a soundfont similar to this, I'd like the original song much more. The whole melody sounds better on the piano IMO, and you absolutely nailed it. Beautiful cover, 11/10.
