With FSDG-online authorization for porting you can preview the result of their great Oresund Bridge scenery. Ground traffic is made with ground traffics plugin.
Great work❤🎉🎉
hi, how are the power button and the rotary encoder connected?
What components did you use? how do you connect the button on the raspeberry? Thank you
I followed the instructions exactly but my 7.9 inch screen still cannot rotate. Please help me. Thank
There is a option in volumio to rotate screen. Before that you had to write a line for it in the cfg file
Amazing project.
Can I ask you how do you power the screen? Directly by a USB port of the Rpi or by the power supply? Thanks
You can connect 2 jumper cable from the pins on the pi that provide power to the screen.
How to make Volumio screen show in the display??
Hello, i am Not that good with coding, so i would ASK U some Details from ur Project. Can i send U some question via Mail ? I need Help with the Buttons , ON Off and the wheel. Can U give me Ur Mail would be great. Kindly regards Chris Müller
Ciao Roby, how did you configure the rotary encoder?
Share ur contact detail
Sorry, I'm not good at doing manual work or making videos and video editing. It's just to give an idea.
Hi Roby, did the display need to be configured in order to be supported by Volumio? Are you running the free version of Volumio or did you bought a subscription plan to have such interface? Very nice project!
Volumio supports screens out of the box for a while now
And this works with the free version
@@h.k.203 Not the 320x1480. output needs to be rotated (with xrandr) and on my configuration always need the secondary DP connected. I raised the question on Volumio forum. This apart, it sounds very good 😊
@@h.k.203any screen or waveshare dsi display alone??
I used this box but It is difficult to work with because bamboo wood is very hard. www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07XDBSVBJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Great work ! How much did it cost you at the end?
more than 200 euro... 😢
Hi, very clever! I have a Volumio Primo .... but would like to add a separate touch screen/box similar to yours ( Primo has HDMI out for screen). Could you add a link for the screen? Thx

我想买一个
I'm not good at these jobs. It took me over a month to finish it and it has several imperfections. I am sorry
Hi thanks for the video. I have similar ideas. Instead of using bamboo box I intend to use wine box. Was it difficult to cut the hole for the screen...what did you use to achieve the seamless look ? Look forward to your sharing thanks
It is difficult to work with because bamboo wood is very hard. Nice idea wine box. I made the hole for the screen 1mm smaller and then I worked with sandpaper. But the display is 1mm bigger than the hole, so it sits on top.
@@robyone7729 thanks for the tips, I will work on it
