The brute flood sounds use to terrify me when I first played Halo 3 on the MCC, that's why I thought Halo 3's floods were the scariest ones, mostly the brutes and tanks, their noises

YOU! YOU RIGHT THERE! Thank you so much! I could NOT find a single audio clip of the flood stalking sounds, nor walking. they also have a running sound but i think it is jsut stalking sped up. I appreciate you so much for this! I could thank you a million times, but this cat girl is really thankful! Context, i am making something and have spent the last 12 hours or more trying to find the flood foot step sounds without audio taint. IE them screaming, or guns firing etc.

I feel sorry for the Marines and covenant on High Charity. Pitch black and the sounds of the dead and dying stumbling towards you. Knowing that you've never seen anything like it or maybe you're a Marine who survived halo, captured on high Charity and now reliving the nightmare all over again. Know you'll possibly never see earth or the sun ever again

It's honestly such a stark contrast between between the previous level gravemind and this level.

Even if we never got to hear this in halo infinite, but imagine a dlc pack where at a fist even after doing a major buildup when the flood returns it starts off with radio chatter, marines screaming in horror and crying for help upon the radio, banished radio chatter of something unknown, and finally chief stumbles upon a scene where a blushed ship crashed and something walking and then runs rapidly at him and he quickly shoots it down, Chief gets a closer look until he stops dead in his tracks and sees a mini flood squid freak after so long. Before the weapon can finish asking chief why he’s so worried and what it is, next thing we hear is something related to the sound of a traumatizing roar at 7:45 having Chief turn and run before the parasite infects him.

half life 2's zombies are like halos flood the flood and half life's zombies are both screaming in pain (well not really)
