Embracing Change for a Life of Creative Fulfillment with Geneviève Retzlaff #creativebusiness
I needed to hear this podcast today! Thank you. Although I like to think I am organized, my office is not. It's filled with books and wool-things that make me happy. Cookbooks and children's picture books fill my bookshelves, and baskets of wool and craft projects are on the floor. When writing or working on a project that needs my full attention, I take my laptop to the dining table to work. It's less distracting. I do have to schedule time in my agenda to organize my office.
I'm so glad you found this week's episode helpful Liliana! It's so interesting how our space can affect our mood, our ability to work and to get into flow. That cleanup can signal to the brain that this space feels good again - let's get to work!
very nice episode
Another great episode girls! Great info and inspiration 👍
Thanks so much Sharon!
excellent suggestion
Great subject! I took a break from releasing music and it actually feels good. Now I am excited to get the new music out this fall/winter. However, I did invest more time into my visual art so that feels constructive 😊. Enjoyed the Podcast 👏
I had a piano teacher who used to make me stop practicing a few days before my RCM exams. She said the break would make my playing more expressive and in the moment. And she was right - I always sounded better after those few days away. It's very counter-intuitive though! Hope you have a great summer Sharon!
