We love to travel as often as we can. We both have normal jobs and aren't able to travel as much as we would like but we squeeze as many road trips out of the year as we possibly can even if it's just 1 or 2 night stays at a nearby state park. We enjoy the adventure and we also enjoy sharing the experiences.
Galveston Island 2024 | Without our Dog
After very little road tripping this year, we find got to get away and spend some time in Galveston. We were originally planning to camp at the state park but there was a lot of rain in the forecast. So we changed up our plans and got a couple hotel rooms. This time we did not bring our dog, Millie, so we're exploring more areas where dogs aren't allowed.

Hot Springs National Park | A Glamping Experience
Просмотров 149Год назад
The last stop on our Arkansas trip has us at Hot Springs National Park where we stay at glamping spot we found on Airbnb, just outside the park. We stay here for 2 nights while exploring the nearby park, without much of a plan. We enjoyed this park and how dog friendly it is. It's perfect for us since we always travel with Millie. Thanks for watching, and follow us for more adventures!!!
Unique Tiny Cabin | We could live here!!! | Mountain view, Arkansas | Airbnb

After spending the past 2 nights camping at Petit Jean SP, we spoiled ourselves and reserved a tiny cabin in Mountain View, Arkansas for the next 3 nights. The spot was so nice we didn't want to leave. In this video, watch us explore the tiny cabin and also the surrounding area as we hike and drive around the small Ozark town.
Petit Jean State Park | We got rained out!!!

For our next trip we are exploring parts of Arkansas. Our first stop is a beautiful state park called Petit Jean State Park. This park offers some amazing hiking, a waterfall, and some lovely campsites and plenty more. Unfortunately, a big storm came through on our second night cutting our exploring short. But we didn't let it ruin our fun and it was only the beginning of our Arkansas trip. Fol...
Kayaking Trails | Trinity River, Dallas TX

We try something new close to home. Evan has been kayaking for many years now and has been wanting to introduce Emma to it, so we found a company that rents out kayaks and transports you to launch sites off the Trinity river in North Dallas. We rented a tandem kayak and cruise 6 miles along the Trinity where we found a hidden gem within the bustling metroplex. WE really enjoyed it and we'll def...

Blanco State Park | With a pitstop in Luckenbach, TX
Просмотров 6 тыс.Год назад
The last stop of our trip brings us to Blanco State Park, one of Texas' smallest parks, nestled in the Hill Country. But first we stopped at Luckenbach, Texas which is a hidden gem where you can grab a cold beer and listen to some country music. We only spent one night at Blanco so we didn't get to explore it as much as we would liked, but we thought it was a charming little park and if you're ...
Enchanted Rock State Natural Area | Limited Use for Dogs
Просмотров 232Год назад
Enchanted Rock is a beautiful area, great for hiking and camping but isn't fully accessible for dogs. We always travel with our dog, Millie, visiting areas that allow dogs on hiking travels. Enchanted Rock only allows dogs in certain areas, meaning you may not get the full experience that you might be seeking. Follow along with us as we explore this park/natural area with Millie the best that w...

We've both been busy with our new jobs to the point we had to put our travels on hold. Out of pure luck, we both had 2 days off in a row together so we decided to take a quick trip to a state park just an hour away. It was our first time at Ray Roberts Lake State Park - Johnson branch. We enjoyed every minute of it and we're pumped for this years travels.
Dinosaur Valley State Park | Camping in the rain

We took a short trip down to Dinosaur Valley State Park to do some camping and see some dinosaur tracks. This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. It's always nice to have some great state parks within a couple hours from home, allowing us to take a break from life and get outside and enjoy some nature with each other. We tried some voice over in this video to give a little informa...
North Padre Island National Seashore | Back to the Beach
Просмотров 6262 года назад
We took a trip back to one of our favorite camping spots, Padre Island National Seashore, to celebrate our 3rd year together. The weather conditions weren't what we were hoping for so our plans changed a little. We stopped at one of our favorite breweries on our way home. And we're already looking forward to our next trip back when the weather is a little more friendly. Thanks for watching :)
Unique Cabin Experience in East Texas
Просмотров 3312 года назад
We spent 2 nights at a unique cabin in East Texas. These cabins are operated by Getaway Houses all over the US. When we found out that they had some located less than 2 hours from our home, we had to check them out. It was a great experience that we will definitely try again...maybe in a different state next time. Enjoy :)

Padre Island National Seashore Trip with Millie
Nice video ! Do they have electric outlet ? Or any campsite with electricity available for winter.
First comment! Love you guys!! Love Galveston looks like it was a lot of fun! Love, your #1 fan ❤️
heading there tomorrow, temperature is going to be 102 degrees, I will be cooked but will have fun.
how long did it take you to make this thing?
I live below lake Livingston Dam. I didn’t know you were in the Dallas area and everyone here knows that lake Livingston is full of alligators as well just saying stay safe!!
You should take great precautions… I frequented the Trinity River for years and the population of alligators has increased 1000%, not baby gators 12 and 14 foot, longer than your boat. When you’re moving around in the murky water, you can be mistaken for food, and if a 14 foot alligator gets a hold of you your dead meat. That’s the exact reason I don’t go on the river anymore unless I’m in a large flat bottom boat and I definitely don’t swim in the river because I know what could be the consequences
I quit boating the trinity river when i seen aligators big enough to eat a deer !
Thanks for taking us along on your adventure! Your pup is adorable! You rock Milly! Liked and subscribed!
Great video! Your dog looked very happy!
I like the idea of the freeze dried meals. I’m just getting into this, and this seems like a very good idea. Thank you.
Well done! I will be using the backseat bivy to start with for our 2022 Outback, and go from there. You did such a great job- I hope you and your wife are getting some great use out of it! Bob from Spokane Valley, WA USA
Which campsite # is this? Thanks.
Thanks for the review. I have camped in the primitive sites and had very similar experience. One night at Moss was none stop noise and two nights at Walnut were quiet and awesome.
This place is great 👍 amen ✝️ 👍
Many thanks for the look around. We plan on camping at Inks Lake S.P. soon. Happy Trials!
Thanks for sharing. We plan to camp at this park in September. Safe travels
Nice video! Thank you for sharing!
Yeah....I drive over the trinity bridge every day. With the windows up and the AC off, because it smells like a sewer. No thank you to getting anywhere near that water.
all the garbage from fort worth & dallas !
Great videos! I have a very similar channel 🙂
Oh very cool! We'll have to check your channel out. Thanks for the compliment!
Cool video! This is my backyard and have made many videos of this river. I jst posted one yesterday and looks like I probably missed yall by a few days! Keep up the great work!
Thanks we appreciate that! We'll check out your video too
@@ecsquared__ Awesome! thank yall!
AWESOME 👍🏻👍🏻
👍🏻👍🏻
Looks like a great trip to enchanted rock. Except for the noisy campers of course we've had the same situation happened to us at lake Livingston state park and the neighbors were extremely noisy loud. And rude
Yeah that's unfortunate, amazes me how some people can be so inconsiderate.
@@ecsquared__ Yes definitely camping is not what it used to be camping to. Most people now is just going out to the woods and partying and having no consideration for others.
I have a lot of history with this state park. I used to go when I was around 5 years old when I was a kid. I try to make it a yearly thing to go back and go camping and climb the rock. Also to visit fredericksburg texas
That whole area is awesome! So many great spots!
@@ecsquared__ so true
Wow i'm glad I just came across this video ink's lake looks extremely nice It's definitely on the list of State parks that we want to visit👍🏻👍🏻
You definitely should, we're already looking forward to going back and exploring more of it!

Fantastic job man!
Thank you! I appreciate it
Hey Thanks! I'm planning a very similar build. Would you mind sharing what camera you used? It worked great for images and audio. Thanks
I used a GoPro Hero 7 Black, older model but still great quality. Good luck with your build!
Looks like a great place to camp 😊
We absolutely loved it!
Awesome trip! Sometimes just one night in nature, albeit a cold night, can recharge your soul. I can't wait to see where you go next!
