$119,- + €50.- is a STEAL for a M.I.J. Aria AC-20 Concert Guitar. Mary Holland in Eindhoven sold their last two NOS for hfl. 800.- each (ideal for duets). That must have been around 1988-1990 or so.

It has baffled me for years that there are no builders making a decent and affordable classical guitar with a narrower neck and a radiused fretboard. Looks like this Fender (and the Cordoba fusion) have finally done it. Lots of old blues, rags, and early jazz sound great on nylon strings, but the oversized "baseball bat" necks and flat fingerboards of standard classical guitars have kept many steel string players away for decades. I'm hoping to check out Fender CN60s in the next couple days.

Can you string this guitar for left-handed playing with out compromising the sound? I noticed that there is slight angle on the bridge.

I picked up one very cheap and then spotted a lightly used one made in S. Korea for very cheap. So I grabbed it for peanuts! Ask me in a week or so if the newer one from Korea is a nice classical (I had a very good luthier built one long ago that was sold and currently have a lightly damaged Lucero 150SCE with Fishman pickup/amp in it for well under $200).

I recently picked one up as well. Went to a music store looking for something decent just to mess around with for less than $300. I played about 10 different brands but kept coming back to this little gem. It has such a unique voice, much better than my old full sized Yamaha has. I haven't even tried plugging it in yet because I love the way it sounds acoustically. 😊

Not sure how laminated it is. Mine is solid top. But the mohogany looks solid. It might be plywood. But it sounds solid mohogany. Now I want an electric classical. This is a great neck. Frets are great. I'm not a robot. I do t even really like fender.

Hola que tal, buenas tardes. Tengo una Fender CN 60s, realmente es una muy buena guitarra, precio calidad se aprecia a la primera, buenos acabados, detalles finos que la hacen ver elegante. Su sonido dentro de la gama del precio es bastante bueno, sostiene muy bien las vibraciones de las cuerdas, los graves son buenos, los agudos son alegres. El único detalle que podría decirse que muchos se decantan entre esta guitarra y otras, es el cuello o mástil, es siete milímetros mas corto, es delgado, cómo el de una guitarra eléctrica, que para unos sería una ventaja, si quieren migrar de acústica/clásica a una eléctrica. Es una guitarra que cuando uno la esta tocando se dice a una mismo, "intentare tocar esta pieza que aun no me sale bien". En cuanto a la Yamaha C40, también cuento con una de ellas. La recomiendo ampliamente, los acabados son buenos, de igual manera muy buena guitarra, precio calidad equilibrado, es de diseño clásico, en eso no hay sorpresas, cómoda para tocar. Los graves un poco apagados, los agudos se escuchan claramente. Si hay alguna critica en ésta guitarra, sería que le falta algo de "sustian", empero por el precio que se paga por esta guitarra, la verdad que el sonido que transmite es bastante bueno. Como extra de ésta guitarra, les diré que las cuerdas que trae de fábrica son bastante duraderas. En fin, es una guitarra que invita a decir, "tocare un rato mas". Ojala que estas líneas le sirvan, para los que están buscando su primera guitarra. Suerte.

Back in either 1976 or 1977, my parents got me a Hondo Classical guitar for Christmas. It played nice, and I kept it until I was married and my kids trashed it--I think. Anyway I bought a H 320 off of eBay for $110. I just put strings on it, and so far it looks to be in pretty good shape... I may have to get a new nut for it, or repair the groove for the 5th string. I got it for mainly nostalgia.... The back and side wood of my 70's model was very pretty, like yours.
