Approach and landing into Santiago Cuba
What are the specs on this plane if you don't mind me asking? Curious what motor/prop you've got as well as what size tires? In one of your more recent videos it looks like you sized up a bit on tires? Sharp looking airplane!
As approaches to airports go, I don't think it gets much better than this.
p̷r̷o̷m̷o̷s̷m̷ ?

ut almost at 99 likes ur at 98
That’s a beautiful run down the coast with the Caribbean on ur right and the Sierra Mastre on ur left
Normally I watch RUclips videos in theater mode but this one is good in full screen. I have been to this airport many times and it always seems that the plane needs all of the runway to stop. Unfortunately this video ended before the turn around at the end of the runway. Also, unfortunately, Sunwing is not flying into Santiago during the 2021-2022 season. If anyone knows why please let me know.
Brings a lot of memories from my county thanks for taking you’re time and record This. Feels so realistic
Que avion es?me parece un MD-88
Ethiopian Cargo?? And which airport ??
Me encantó el vídeo he hecho muchas veces ese aterrizaje
que avion es??
Why did you go so far off the Centreline and to the right of the runway?
You'll notice how the airplane is bucking at the end of the video. We had a bad tailwheel shimmy and the only way to steer was with differential braking
@@aviationresults2292 glad all went well.
i hope the good folk at the FAA Enforcement did not hear that iPhone go off.
If they hadn't I'm sure they have now.

Flying through or near a thunderstorm?
We always try to avoid wx, but sometimes there's no way to do so. Here we were in and out of the tops.
Ahh I see, wasn't paying attention, I see Heading select in the FMA. Please make more post like these!

I noticed on the announceator panel a blue light being illuminated, do you you know what that indicates?

+atlubeck thanks!
Awesome video! Love your channel! Just subscribed! Would you sub back? Liked!
You had to add this music.......or was it a requirement becuase we are not allowed to hear stuff going on in the FD. Either way still obnoxious. But nice video!
Nice! Sub4sub?:)
+horizonproductionssfl Thank you, best wishes to you as well.
Very cool! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
+Vernon Demerest Like I said, first time using this sim and it does have its bugs, spoilers being one of them. Maybe my real landings (look at the rest of my channel) are better then the sim. Thanks for watching.
+John pallock hard work, dedication and sacrifice that's how I got in the cockpit. If you look around my channel you'll figure out the airline.
+blackchildproduction anything above 8.5 degrees and you can damage a thrust reverser anything above 10 degrees can cause a tail strike.
What airlines was this? How'd you get to go in the cockpit?
That seemed to be a bit hard touchdown no? Was is it due to the fact that the runway was short? What is the normal pitch on the flare to avoid a tail strike?
Nice! The video makes me feel like I'm actually there! Great quality! :D
