My great grandpa designed this course
Think it's a skateboard motor n remote
I have the same clicgear. I want to do this on both back wheels to steer it. Is it hard to steer with just the front wheel?
Where’s ball spin?

Bruh
You like it too 😅
I'm looking for a camera, not that bruh
What kind of camera? I got that too 😅
Ok you got me
would you spend $3500 on one?
Awesome job man. That’s great. I have a quick question for you, on your Garmin scorecard it has those balls under your hole score, what does that represent? I can’t figure it out. Thanks in advance. Btw I played Riverside yesterday and had my worst score ever of a 109!!!!! Yikes
What software did you use to make this video? Wondering how you were able to cut out sections of the Skytrak screen and place them on sides?
Hey Scotty what size is the battery and the motor? Also did the battery setup last for a full 18 holes?
What are the chances there are two golfers named Scott that live near Madera?
Have you tried connecting this to an ipad? I was thinking of getting the keyboard, connecting a microusb to USB-C.
bro, open the face of your club and you are going to have a sick draw!
where can i buy that motor with remote?

Greetings! I’m an independent filmmaker from Fresno; I’m making a documentary about amateur golfers; would love to possibly have you part of it for an interview, thank you !
Yo well played round. Got me pumped up heading out there this afternoon for practice 🏌🏿💯💪🏽
LET’S GO!!! 💪💪 this comment got me excited to make some more videos! Good luck practicing & I hope you beat your friends out there!!
Great video! this group needs some short game practice lol
Great video I have been looking all over on how to make one myself and your replies to our comments really help.
Thanks for the support! If you have any questions let me know 👍👍 it’s worth it and after playing 10+ rounds my stamina is up
What got you into golfing?
Hey Scotty, you got amazing stuff there. I am thinking about making one by myself but the problem is what size or power motor do I use? If you can help me it will be highly appreciated. Will be looking forward to hear from you.
I’ve found the least expensive way is converting a used electric skateboard. I looked for a boosted board, but ended up with a Meepo NLS Pro for $200. One motor was going out but it worked for me 👍
@@ScottyGolf Thanks for your answer.
I played this course a few weeks back and got absolutely beat up! I’m used to courses like airways where there’s not a lot of trouble.
That’s the course! I haven’t been back since this video. It’s not a fun course I’ll say but my buddy did well
How is the accuracy of ball flight? I have yet to use my ST on the range - always inside the golf sim.
It's accurate just as indoor, but needs to be in the shade. Any sunlight and it stops working
9/10 it’s great
1/10 you get an error
Doesnt the skytrak have to be used with wifi? Or can it be used w/o wifi if it is just to measure data? Meaning the wifi is just to play courses online?
You can use it at the course with no wifi. You do need an iPad at the range to show you read outs. It only works in the shade 👍
@@ScottyGolf Great! Thanks!
Hiii
Hey Juan first comment lol
@@ScottyGolf yes lol
haha I cant not laugh at the 'all wedge' thing.
I like All Wedge better than approach 🥲
That's a yote fs, but what did you use to make this
I took apart a electric skateboard lol I’m trying to get it into a finished consumer model
looks more like a coyote
Good video. Work on those weights, and train on explosiveness. You could get alot more yardage doing so. Good luck
Thank you sir 🙏 I’m working toward it. I’m adding weights in my routine to prep for may. I also have a low flight shaft and sim 9.0 driver now 🙌
@@ScottyGolf You are heading in the right direction. :)
Don’t worry too much on distance. Your distances are good. I would try and focus on consistency and accuracy. Maybe lock down on your swing and fluidity. Practice putts and 150 and in. Also learn how to shape your shots for different situations. Also, learn how to do the shots you wouldn’t normally hit but need in the bag like knowing how much you need to hit your 5 iron to get it to 100 yards in case you’re under a tree and other weird situations you would be in. I love the review by the way.
Yo Scotty can you do a 2021 what’s in the bag
For you hell yah! I stopped posting for a bit on here because the views were very low. I’m on TikTok now, but I’ll be back soon enough on RUclips 🙌 what’s in the bag 2021 comes first
Fantastic video man. My SkyTrak is on order and should be here end of March 2021. I have already put together a hitting bay with an impact screen and a projector in my garage. I purchased TGC 2019 and I can't wait to get started. This video has convinced me even more so that I made the correct purchase. You really hit on several points I liked. The accuracy of the device is something that I am happy to hear about. I had confidence in it based off of my research but it's super convincing to hear you sharing your real world example. I loved your cost analysis as well. I was really hoping that playing on a simulator would be enough to satisfy my craving to get out on the course and your statement about a person preferring to play at home really resonated with me. I would play golf everyday if I could and I right now I can't wait to get out on the weekends. It's expensive and time consuming but if I can be happy playing at home most of the time and play outside once or twice a month I will be a very happy man. Thanks for the great video. I have subscribed and I look forward to exploring your channel and seeing new content.
Love my home course!!! Thanks for the promotion
When are you posting more vids and if you are looking forward to them
Ay that was me with my dad what’s up scotty
Hey man! Have a wonderful day. You golfing this weekend?
@@ScottyGolf yes actually on my way rn
Good video. Depending on your make of club. Your face actually rolls aswell when you adjust the loft. It will actually roll closed for a higher loft and roll open for a a lower loft. Crazy... I know. I have an m2 2017 and that's exactly what happens.
can you do an outdoor skytrack and mevo plus test at the same time, so far found none on youtube, maybe you could get a lot of views
Good video
Thanks for the boost of confidence 👏🏼
Does it work pretty good outdoors? like with a backyard net some people said that there was issues with outdoor light and one more thing if you just want to use the range setup do you have to pay an annual membership fee?
Range is always free (that’s why I like it) The SkyTrak won’t work in direct sunlight because it’s too bright for the cameras to read. If you put an umbrella over it so the red laser is visible on the ground, you’ll be good
Great concept. I wish i could do this. Anyway, I enjoyed the content.
Thanks for the kind words Robert! I’ll be back on Nov 17 2020 👍🏼 are you a Fresno guy?
@@ScottyGolf I am.
Which is more accurate indoors in your opinion? Mevo plus or skytrak?
I liked the Skytrak for small spaces, the mevo+ if you have the room for it. The Mevo+ needs around 10ft of ball flight to measure... Outdoor on the mats I go Skytrak because Mevo+ needs to be hit on a level surface
Decent looking swing but your ball striking efficiency is a little concerning, if it’s reading right. 133mph ball speed with 98mph club speed that’s 1.35 smash factor which is way too low for a 5 iron. My 5 iron has 27 degree of loft and carries about 185-190 with about 86-88 mph club speed. Btw, 98mph for a 5 iron is well above the PGA Tour average(94 for 5 iron), so you are a definitely fast swinger if your radar is reading right.
Just though I would confirm smash factor has no relevance to the club it’s just the ratio difference between club speed and ball speed so basically telling you how efficiently you are turning club speed into ball speed, I use the mevo plus and 1.35 is around average smash factor for a good strike 👍
@@ukhomewoodworker848 Thanks for the input but unfortunately you’re wrong. Smash factor is relevant to the loft of the club, the more loft the more spin and the less smash factor. In other words, it is humanly IMPOSSIBLE to creat the same smash factor for a driver with a wedge... blog.trackmangolf.com/trackman-average-tour-stats/ As this chart shows, smash factor clearly increases as the loft of club decreases because of more efficient clubspeed-ballspeed transferring.
@@vic_0315 if you used a launch monitor regularly you will realise your wrong I can get 1.49 smash from a wedge by thinning it! It’s got nothing to do with loft google it, the reason you see increases in your chart is because the shorter irons on tour will be more bladed and many tour players will move to cavity in long irons which adds more rebound effect and then woods are even more hot faces so add to smash factor, I understand it looks like it rises because of loft it’s just their swings are very consistent. When the average golfer uses a launch monitor smash factor goes up and down with every club because they don’t always hit the middle of the face very often.
@@ukhomewoodworker848 Thanks for the response, I have a feeling we are talking about different things. I think you’re talking about the loft of the club, and I’m talking about DYNAMIC LOFT. Google it if you’re not familiar with it, it means the true loft being delivered to the ball at impact that dictates launch angle. But one thing that remains true is, loft(dynamic loft) is related to smash factor. When you blade a wedge you will indeed get 1.5 smash factor, but by balding the wedge you’re not delivering the CORRECT LOFT on the ball. So when you blade the wedge, you have “decreased” the DYNAMIC loft of the wedge to like 1 degree by hitting it off the bottom edge of the club, therefore reduces spin and increases smash factor. So when you hit a wedge CORRECTLY, it’s humanly impossible to get 1.49 smash factor. With the same attack angle and same club speed, the lower the dynamic loft(launch angle) the higher smash factor. So going back our original discussion, when hitting a club PROPERLY, with everything being the same, the lower the loft the higher the smash factor.
@@vic_0315 I agree dynamic loft will affect smash my original comment was because you mentioned the loft of your 5 iron, I imagine one of the reasons his swing speed doesn’t deliver + 200 distance is swing path it looks out to in which transfers a certain amount of that speed into side spin, or it’s simply an off centre hit, but if it was me I would not look at any tour averages you will only get disappointed😉
The holes in the wall.... I'm dead lol!
They ain’t hurting anyone 😉
Scotty when are we going to play?
I might be having a viewers match in the next few days. I will keep you updated 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for posting. Good to see local courses.
Cheers Robert! Hope to see you out at Riverside
