A simple "im proud of you" from chuck would have changed the course of jimmy's life. After his first arrest for defecation, Jimmy did really try to mend his ways, he wanted to do the right thing and he did. But chuck's ego was to big for him to see past jimmy's past transgressions. Making jimmy into the main charachter of both of the series. As he says in his final trial, walter could not have done what he did without the help of jimmy. he probably would have wound up dead in a month or 2.

Weird that James Earl Jones gets a title card credit in "Obi Wan", since he was only somewhat involved in the project. It makes sense, though; since they're using his real voice as a template for an AI performance and he's consenting to it. This precluded the actor's strike over AI generated performances. I guess every time we see Vader now he'll always sound like Jones.

Imagine making a prequel about a comic relief character and managing to create not only a series that reaches the same heights of the oiriginal but in some people's opinions, even surpasses it, better call saul and Jimmy mcgill as a character are one of the greatest writing triumphs of all time, turning what was once a funny lawyer guy into a rich deep complex and tragic figure, writers need to take notes, better call saul is how you make a prequel
