They are making it hotter by geoengineering and making more humidity. I’ve lived here for over 10 years and it is ruined! 😡 the massive move here from blue states have changed the culture for the worse. As soon as my mother passes away I will be selling and leaving!
If southern Utah has a water issue. Quit out-building the available water we have right now. Don’t expect locals to sacrifice their hard work of landscaping just to appease the tax base and revenue more people bring.
Looks like a great place for a snowbird visit, don't think I'd ever perma-move there.
Because the traffic is so bad and st George has horrible city architects that can't design a city properly?
As a real estate agent in St George wouldn't you want people moving there. Seems like you'll be losing a lot of commissions

It is a beautiful area 4:18 . So close to nature Bryce Canyon and Not far from Antelope slot Canyon. It's so beautiful though!!! The ONLY thing I'm nervous about is that Im a Cali gal, dark skinned. Diamond heart, but not all residents want a Cali Latin/Mix move in next door. Let's be real! I'm looking for my end game. Im early 50's. I want to chill!

Good luck with water
If you do not have a lawn to water, how bad can a water limit be?
That’s a good question. Some opt for hardscape and more of a desert landscape and have very little lawn. Others have lawns.
We all have grass but they are trying to make us pull out our grass so more people can live here! Water is an issue and they just gaslight us and tax us to death!
I had no clue we even had a water limit here
I hate humidity. It's in the mid to high 90's usually here in Iowa and with the humidity, it's totally obnoxious.
We definitely don’t get much humidity in Utah. It’s pretty dry.
As a local, I hope you listen closely. She is right. You should not move here. We love what we have created here. We don't need outside influences that will try to change things. So look somewhere else. Visit all you want.
No please don't visit. The every other weekend events that literrally double the population is getting so old.

Well, I been considering relocating there and was watching your videos. I have visited there previously. My question and maybe I missed your video on your RUclips channel. What is the job market out there. I try indeed to look for things, but nothing much comes out. I am from Midwest Peoria, IL area. Is there other things your aware of maybe with helping others move there and spouse or partner looking for work with there move. Can you suggest anything to consider, like headhunters or temp agencies. I know you may not know but no harm in asking right.
Great questions! Thanks for watching. Honestly the job market in Utah is pretty strong, we have a low unemployment rate. It really depends on the type of work you are interested in, just curious what kind of employment are you looking for?
Well I have a BA in management. I do not seem to see much pop up on indeed. I most recently have worked for Jr colleges and a hospital in illinois. Administrative type work.
I am a native here in UT. Our family moved to st george for my husband's job and we hate it. Compared to most of Utah... - Crime is high here. Theft is a biggie and we already witnessed violence. Never had to lock my doors at night ever in UT until St George. - Hideous and depressing scenery. St George has a high population of millionaire's and their mansions pollute the hills in every direction and they're golf courses are just as insulting, especially during droughts. - Overpopulation. Clastrophobia anytime you take your family to a local outting, hard to get into doctor's appontments, traffic is bad because city growing faster than road construction and, again, crime is high. - Rent and utilities are high here. Property management are all slumlords, utility companies are unethical. - The heat is unbearable and worse than Vegas due to the added humidity. - Street designs are absurd. Unnecessary roundabouts and winding roads everywhere. - Wages low here while housing costs rise.
