Still waiting for my copy of Collette. I pre-ordered at a local shop and for some reason, it takes forever for them to get viz series. I'm *still* waiting for the Red River first omni....

This is a trope I think I secretly love yet haven’t admitted until now? 😆😅 I think Hak fits this but yes let’s Yona defend herself as well, but honestly of the two I almost think YONA would kill anyone who touches Hak which I fully support, don’t hurt either of my babies, lol!!! I think I subconsciously wrote this into my own male lead for the female lead in my book and he has fire powers so, um, if he ever decides to turn from gentle to evil and someone hurts her…he may just light them on fire, lol. 😅👀🤭

I read a little bit of Diary of a fe,ale lead online and liked it so I bought vol 1 and I have been hearing a lot about Colette everywhere so hot that too but I haven't started them yet. I liked the first impressions by the way

I had the same reaction with collete! I didn’t realize it would be as heavy as it is. I didn’t have the right headspace going into it, but from introspection, after reading the book, I can say it was a powerful and amazing read and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I bought the first volume of college- I read a bit of it online and was very very intrigued and in love with the story so I’m sooo excited to have it physically 🥰

Loved this video! Touch her and you die is definitely a huge trope for Barbatos in An Archdemon's Friend's Dilemma. He's the type to deliberate on how to take out someone who hurt his klutz while also being like, how do I do it in such a way that it doesn't fall back on her. Barbatos is willing to do anything for her but would never do anything Chastille would explicitly hate which is a nice balance. 😊

This is one of my favorite tropes and I agree with you that alot of manga/manhwa/webtoons have this trope. And it's not even limited to romance, there's alot of webtoons that have parents being very protective of their child or family. One underrated webtoon that I want to highlight as having this trope is Tacit by Kim Dazzi, which can be found on both webtoon and tappytoon. The character named Rovan in that webtoon is willing to do anything, even sacrifice himself, as long as he can protect those he cares about.

Manga, manhwa, manhua are okay to read as long as they are not porn type, lust-focused, sorcery, witchcraft types and gore or too violent types. But if you read any comics make sure not to use all your time reading it because the most important book to read is the scripture of God which is the bible❤❤❤❤

Shoujo audio: Cross Infinite World has some, too. Can't speak to their quality since I haven't listened to any, just saying they exist! I love villainess stories with their "triumph over a terrible situation" arcs, and it hits even harder when the terrible is super terrible. 😅 Kill the Villainess looks interesting

Kill the Villainess is my favorite villainess story ever. The despair she goes through to ultimately come out on top was very inspiring. Definitely recommend seeing it thorough.

I've read other manga casually, but this was the first series that I've ever completed. I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end and it made me laugh out loud so much! I would love it if they made it into an anime so that we can actually visualize the shenanigans unfolding but just as long as they stay true to the humor (especially the faces) and story. Seriously my favorite manga!💗💗💗

I'd say the one that made me so frustrated over a delulu character would be a certain someone from: Tears of a Withered Flower (It's very mature, but if you're looking for delulu, it's written in sharpie) If you want a good romance that's similar to these I'd recommend: Not your Typical Reincarnation Story (also known as) I Thought it's a Common Possession. <- This story is very similar to Villains are destined to die... I'm so glad more people are reading the stories you mentioned though!! I wish they had more recognition!

OMG Beware the Villainess is my favourite! Melissa just destroys those fools! Even her brother! And Nine (the blue haired hottie on the cover) is just Best Boi! You're gonna love book 2! But, yeah, that prince dosent get a reality check for a bit, coz Melissa just avoids him like the plague! You cant argue with crazy!
