@@ruttinstruttinoutdoors2770 dangit...lol...a 10 point got me about 2 years ago...I had bowed a 7 pointer, had gotten down to start tracking went to my arrow and there stood a 10....blew twice, stomped and ran off...LOL....Never had him on camera anywhere on the property. Not sure what you consider quartering to me but he wasn't. The shot couldn't have been too terrible because it cut his heart. Thanks for the concern though.

It was a quartering to shot no doubt - but pretty rude to just talk smack about a man harvesting a good buck. Once you made the shot my first thought was dead deer.. though the shot was about 6-8” back. Where the arrow went in would have been perfect for a broadside. When quartering to just move the pin over to the front/left side of that shoulder and it’ll be ideal. Either way good deer, and acceptable shot placement. Congratulations and bless you sir.
