Wow !!! That is really 🔥🔥 what kindnof sand is that , suprise it didn't break the bottle
You don’t need to put small amount of wax on the top and let it cool, the whole point of a cork is to allow a very small amount of oxygen into the bottle over time. By sealing the cork too tightly you suffocate your wine
What kind of paint do you use to inlay in the blasted area before using the razor blade to clean
Yesthis is a really well-done and enjoyably surprising video, good for the world individual by individual. Speaking of one of which, if yer such a winaficionado, STOP SMOKING. It's killing you, he typed caringly.
Absolutely spectacular!! Thank you for showing so many examples!!
This is one of the best how to wax a bottle videos I've seen. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing.
You might think those are big wine bottles, but this was actually a Keebler Elf.
Bump an old video. Is the alignment tool at 5.40 home made or available to buy please?

Traitor
Nice video. Very informative. Candidate for a "How It's Made" segment.
Hi Stu, I really love the work you company does. I am working on a project for a friends wedding. How long do you let the paint dry after you spray before you peel of the resist film? I am having an issue with the paint peeling off the design with the mask. @stuMcfarland
Please tell me what kind of wax you use. Can I buy silver and glod wax?
can someone tell me where i can buy this?

what software do you use for your artwork?
This gold bottle at 8:53 is 1-shot too ?
To continue what I was saying.... I have had pure corks (not the new plastic ones) deteriorate and ruin the wine or completely evaporate the wine, even though they were horizontal and I rotated the bottle every now and then to keep the cork moist. Dry cork, or moist cork, it will still deteriorate. The wax preserves the wine for decades and if re-waxed when needed the wine can last for 100's of years.
The point of this is that the wine lasts longer on the shelf. As a collector I usually purchase 4 bottles of one type of wine when I feel like it, one to drink within a week to a month or two, one to keep for 5 years, one to keep for 10 years, and one to keep indefinitely.
excellent technique! i will try this
great . i cant tell you what an inspiration your work is . I watch this particular video at least twice daily for inspiration .
One Shot sign paint
What kind of paint do you use ?
Lord have mercy . Exquisite work . One HAS to enjoy this over a sumptuous plate of fave beans and human medulla . While sipping a fine merlot of course .
Exquisite detail.
Thank you!
@828hata Thanks Yoshinori, we appreciate your compliment! Just let me know when you want a tour. Stu
Thanks Alana!!
Stu, your work continues to amaze me. Excellent video showing your artists and attention to quality work. I'm a huge fan and still have some of my Girl with a Glass etched bottles (although they are empty now). Cheers to you & the crew! Alana
@arrowheaddrive I was on their web site signed up and started to shop. Because I'm still in the testing stages I can’t afford to buy lots of wax anyhow after checking out, I saw that the shipping was more than the product itself... Why so high :( there is no option to ship standard postal, "if it fits they will ship it" starts at $4.95. I would love to try this out, the price is good but the shipping is too high.
@SuchaCaligrrl NoChip Dip dipping "wax" is a polymer rather than a wax. That's how we obtain such a shine! We dip our bottles when the dipping "wax" reaches 380 degrees using a Presto deep fryer with an adjustable thermostat. Cheers, Stu
What type of wax are you using? What is it made of?
my personal preference is to just let it run
