hi sir, im not your students but i want to ask. so on analyzing a communication in speech communities, do we analyze it trough the speakers and addresser too? so the meaning in the communication will occurs and understand by both people in speech communication? or we analyze it focus in the speakers?
Good question! In a thorough analysis, we will analyse all aspects that will make the meaning clear. It involves both the speaker and the audience. Focusing on one side will lead to different result. However, you'll gain different, or perhaps unique and clear, findings when you try to focus on one perspective only.

Text refers to a written form while speaker is person who speaks. Narrator is the one who has written a text But you have used theses terms interchangeably it creates an ambiguity
Text may refer to written or spoken. You will need to consider between written language and spoken language before proceeding to written and spoken text. There are some cases that people write spoken language; it is indeed a written text using spoken language.
