It’s Time to Add Clean Dirt
Просмотров 271День назад
Today I am adding new clean dirt to my run. After the hurricane, I put in pelletized horse bedding to absorb all the moisture. That is not a permanent thing, so I am now adding dirt on top. #backyardchickens #chickenlife #happiness

So Cute 🥰 ❤❤❤❤❤
Chicken's equipment 🤔
Ha ha, love it 😆
So sorry, Cindy. Love & hugs from Southeast Ohio. You take such excellent care of your chickens. I know this is very sad & discouraging. Thanks for sharing your flock with all of us, & very sorry to hear about Robin.
Thank you 🙏🏻
@@CluckinAround You're welcome!
❤
That's awesome! ❤ She loves it!
so sad
I love ❤️ this long song. I have her cd. .
❤
So sorry to hear that. They r just like pets to us. If you get what I'm saying. 🐓.
Yes, they are.
Oh wow so much rain 😥, hope you get a break soon 🌞. Your cute little chickens are so calm and patient ❤️
We are getting a break this week.
@@CluckinAround that's good to hear ❤️
I'm so sorry for your loss 😢 poor little man ❤. Rest in peace Robin 💕💕
Thank you 🙏🏻
I'm sorry to hear that, Cindy.
Thanks, Joseph!
I’m so sorry! I know your pain when it comes to this. We’ll miss Robin in your videos. Sending you a big hug from AZ ❤
Thanks so much! He was a good lil roo. He would never attack me and would come when I called him.
This is the reason I'm against naming farm animals, names create attachments, I care and love my animals, but I know their purpose, sorry to hear about this.
Even if I didn’t name them, I’d still be attached. It’s just who I am. I will be okay.
🎉
Well done!
They're so pretty!
They are goofy girls 🤣
Well done! Hopefully it heals soon.
I hope so too
OMG! That was different lol.
The life of a chicken tender
Wow! I think y'all are getting all the rain we're wishing for...so sorry y'all are getting overwhelmed with rain...send just some of it North if possible for our fields. Hang in there! ❤ I like the background music! Your chickens are just beautiful! God bless y'all!
I knew someone else probably needed some of our rain. Last summer, we were in a drought! I try to not complain about too much rain.
@@CluckinAround ❤
Welcome to my world 😂, but its been great around here.
Last summer, we had a drought. This summer, we started with heat really early. Now we have a lot of rain.
@CluckinAround The climate is changing, Beryl was record breaking early.
Ballerific!
Keep up the good work! We often feel like everything is a learning curve with our meat chickens!
Thanks! Will do!
One of my favorite songs! ❤ Enjoyed the scenery of your chickens with it. God bless y'all!
That's cute!
Thanks! 😊
A project 🤔
Phoowee that's a lot of work. Before summer hit, I dug out about half my run and moved it to raised gardens. I need to get a good sloped roof situation like yours. Rain messes my run up every time.
I love having this space for them to stay dry. The recent hurricane is the only reason it got wet. Thanks for viewing! 🐓😊
Good move👌
One more short before bed, the short:
🤣
Yes you do!
So lovely! ❤
So nice! ❤ Beautiful work! Great video showing the coops features, too!
Thanks so much! 😊
@@CluckinAround You're welcome! 😊
Yay power and air conditioning! Nothing like getting back to your routine.
So true!
Glad to hear everything is back.
Thanks 😊
❤
See them pecking at that stuff, i rather have mud, its used for horses because horses are not used for production.
I’m getting more dirt to add over top. I agree
@@CluckinAround I get a lot of rain, I was looking for something when I came across a RUclips video showing this product, I finally had a life saver until I started doing research on it, When I found out its ingredients, I said nope, not for production animals.
❤ Seeing this one out of order & after the fact. Very glad y'all are ok! It is scary to go through hurricanes. Hope power's back!
Power is back as of last night, but our water well will not prime. Hope it’s not the pump or leathers.
@@CluckinAround Continued prayers! Glad power is back; praying for your water situation!!! Thank you for the update! ❤
Hope that power comes back today 🙏
We got a notification that it could be July 18
I never use that stuff, it's a carcinogenic, it might be in the small print on the bag.
👍 Good job! Sounds like great pro-active steps to help that coop area to dry up as much as possible. I hope it helps a bunch!!! Thanks for sharing, too! The idea could help someone else if they have an issue with wet ground in a chicken run or coop. Love the easy-fill waterer!!! They're definitely our favorites!
I hope so too! Thanks. 😊
God bless y'all! You have a great positive attitude. It's inspiring! ❤
You are so kind
Glad your ok . That was a very bad storm
Thanks!
Sorry about the mess and the storm! Glad to see everyone is okay and none of your buildings were damaged.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Its good to rough it once in a while, makes you feel alive 😂
Yep! I like camping, but when it’s planned lol
@CluckinAround Best camping trips are unplanned, see it as one of those, My best camping trip was at Flamingo Beach in Vieques, we hadn't bought tickets to the ferry and we were running late because it was not planned at all, we were told the ferry was full at the ticket counter, they called us back saying 4 people canceled and we miraculously got on...Best camping trip ever 😆
Sounds fun!
Oh gosh 😟, thinking of you, stay safe 😘
Thank you 😊
Chickens love those big grubs 😂
I left it there for them. I’m sure one of them found it and got chased by everyone else 😂
Good stuff! Glad everyone is good!!!
Thank you 🙏🏻
I can hear a chicken complaining 🤔
It might be because they usually have a fan during the summer heat. Since the hurricane hit we don’t have power.
@@CluckinAround i hope power coming back soon
Thank you 🙏🏻
I have been a prepper for over 20 years, it might be time to think a bit about prepping. I don't know if you compost for gardening, but if you have compost, throw some in there and watch the magic happen ✨️.
Ever since I got chickens I do think more about preparing.
