Saw some fantastic clicks 👍
Yes I admit that the result of survival of Cheetahs in India will take time. Hope the New jungle will be more viable for the beautiful Cheetahs.
Wonderful concept Suriji of the introduction of Nature News. It will informing of Wildlife to many die hard wildlifers. I saw you in Asif khan in Sher khan program and with Vivek Awasthiji recently. I had gone to Vivek Awasthiji' Junglee Resort in Rajaji National Park and did a jungle podcast with him which was done sitting in the Leopard territory and the experience was excellent. Sakahaari chita?
Nice episode sir thanks❤
Thank you!
Beatles in Rishikesh....Wow❤
Rishikesh is an amazing place with several hidden gems and untold stories. Thanks for stopping by!
Farmers in rural areas of Maharashtra are already in danger of Leopards and Tigers. Their livestock, pets and in some cases even humans are being killed by these predators. Now Government wants to bring in Cheetahs. They are hell bent on making life miserable for mango people. Try reviving Saber tooth, Mammoth and if possible Dinosaurs as well.
A hopeful n positive virw
Thank you. Yes, from the beginning I have been quite hopeful and positive about Project Cheetah.
Sir, May I get your business mail id ?
Hi, you can contact me on suriajay@gmail.com
Bringing an exotic species in India to make it invasive in India must be a smart plan to execute.
Chita welcome to Bharat 🎉
Yes, I agree with you.
Suri Sir Thanks for Sharing
This is quite a valid observation.
Perfect 🎉
Thank you so much!
Lion ka bhi hona chahiyeah q ki sirf gujrat meh hai baki kisi state meh nahi toh dusre state shif karna chahiyeah
A very pertinent point.
Pappu ko bataoo
How many free ranging cheetahs? Do you think the project has been mismanaged?
It's too early to say. Like I pointed out in the episode, and it's my perspective, that you will have to give many, many years - maybe decades- to come to any definite conclusion about the success or failure of Project Cheetah. But we should always be ready for course correction if the need arises.
@TigersandBeyond I agree, but then I m not talking about success or failure, I m talking about mismanagement
No they didn't hunt big animals they kill impala deer and small animal
Please release them in Rajastan or Gujurat and send some Lions to Kuno. Stop playing around for Politics
As per my information, Banni grassland in Gujarat is also being prepared as the third home of cheetahs in India.
@TigersandBeyond where is the second one?
@@teejayman215 The second home for cheetahs is going to be Govind Sagar Sanctuary. I have mentioned it in the story.
Best of luck ❤ full support for cheetah project
Thank you!
100% true sir
Thanks much.
Good news We may need more in future to have good genetic diversity
Yes, absolutely. And to protect the genetic diversity of cheetahs, two places Kuno and Govind Sagar have already been marked. Work is also going on in the third place where they could be housed in future.
Modi ji ki puri kosish hai ❤
I hope the efforts would bear results.
Sir please make long documentry on Asiatic lions like africans filmed like savage kingdom❤
That's a very good suggestion. I will definitely consider it.
I dont doubt anywhere on project Cheetah. From Day 1, i am advocating this project will be a huge success. Why i am saying this is because India have been home to cheetahs till 1948. ofcourse one can say these were asian cheetahs and we are reintroducing african cheetah. To them I want to clarify the recent study in south Africa reveled that there very minute genetic difference between these two species. It can be understood with an example of King cheetahs and african cheetahs. So reintroducing them in india is not an something we are doing out of the blue. The only thing which i worry about is the state wise politics of MP and Rajasthan and the project handling. After all our tigers also evolved from the species in africa. So why cant these Cheetahs survive here. Those who doubt need to study more on wildlife. Animal kingdom is amazing and if one start to study them closely, he will understand all the species are the segregation from the super continent Pangea.😊 Thankyou for your video Ajay ji, you have a natural voice which suits on voice overs. Waiting for your new content.😊
You are quite right. In fact, about two decades or so ago when Indan Government first made an attempt to bring back cheetahs, they were meant to be brought from Iran. But the decision got delayed due to bureaucratic hassles and later on, it came to be known that Iran had few cheetahs to spare. Also, thanks for your observation on my voice. I have gone through your channel and you have done lots of fabulous stories! Please stay in touch.
but cheetah ke badle asiatic lion pe focus q nai kar rahi govt. Already gir overpupulate ho gaya hai, kya unke liye naye Jungle ban rahe hai ?
Yes, this too is an important issue.
Exactly. It's a travesty that they're all still forced to be in Gir instead of spreading them to better suited woodlands all over india
Project chitaah❤ Hybridization is important ❤ Please avoid self breeding in chitaah ❤
Very valid point.
Wish they did hybridization using some Asian cheetahs from zoos
@teejayman215 At least they adopted chitas from 10 different countries
@anwardeshmukh1701 That's a good variation, but no matter how successful it ends up, there will always be people talking about how they're not the true native asiatic cheetah. If they had at least some genetic mixture, this argument can be avoided
It's important for the environment/wildlife projects to continue for long- since it often requires decades to produce tangible result. But the ongoing project should not suffer.
😂😂😂
Acha 😂
Mast joke
Mr Harish. I will not be drawn into any political debate on this platform. This was not the aim of starting this channel. I mean to entertain & educate viewers through true stories from the wild (as the channel's tagline says).

Jhota asa bolo jo pacha paya samja congress ka dala
And please make a long documentry film on Asiatic lions also🙏
That's a good idea. Will certainly consider.
Sir Kalahari cheetahs can survive in Desert national park of Rajasthan in thar. Why india is not getting Kalahari cheetahs to thar it will be a big reintroduction. Govt must try ❤
Oh, this aspect too is worth probing. Thanks for bringing it to my notice.
@TigersandBeyond they should try because thar desert has a large area like Kalahari not like kuno. If this possible their population will increase rapidly
Fantastic work n Thank you Sir. I am watching your video from Denmark 😁. Kindly continue ur fabulous work. Waiting for new video 😊Regards Dr Amit Sharma 💐🙏
Thanks so much Dr Amit for your appreciation. India is brimming with stories on nature, environment and wildlife and it will be my endeavour to present them at regular interval. Would love to hear from you again!
They were not against cheetahs they were against Prime minister Narendra Modiji.
You are partly right. In any country, the opposition's role is to gun for the Government and its leader. India is no exception. But we have an unusual situation here, Many so called experts, who have not done any scientific studies or are without academic qualifications, are nowadays posing as ``true experts''. For them, opposing any move by Government is way to prove their ``expertise''.
Kutte billli jaise insaano ki kya keemat hogi... Overpopulated species ki koi keemat nhi hoti Sir.
Khan cha aur aap ka podcast suna suri sab It's gives me impulse to meet you in person one day .
Thanks for your appreciation Gautam Ji!!
Sir broken tell. Ne bhi yahi kiya thana
Yes, Broken Tail too had strayed from his territory- in Ranthambore. Unfortunately, he was knocked down by a train.
Bahut bhadiya work sir ji !! One question sir kya Gir bhi suitable hai cheetah ke liye if yes why not government placing cheetah in gir
Thank you Abhinav. And a very apt question. In fact, the Indian Government is actively considering making the Banni grassland of Gujarat the third home for cheetahs in India (after Kuno and Govond Sagar). In fact, a forest survey has already been done of Banni region. A decision in this regard is likely to be taken sooner or later.
@TigersandBeyond thank you sir I was thinking about this from the time when they first arrived in India.
India already has so many wild animals that they are entering cities and houses...why bring more???
Since your observation is quite subjective, let me reply in the same tone if you will Indiana12394. What exactly do you mean by ``so many animals''. At the turn of 20th centuary, India had 40,000 -plus tigers. Now their numbers is less then 4,000. Obviously they are too less and not too many. And then you said the wild animals are entering cities and houses. The situation is quite the opposite. It's we, the humans, who have encroached upon their land and their resources.
@TigersandBeyond I am a common man and only know the facts around me. Lucknow has a tiger roaming around for the past 15 days and is not caught so far. People are living in fear, kids not going to school and farmers not going to their farms. Leopards are being spotted in cities now. Today a leopard was spotted in the crowded area of Ghaziabad. Gujrat gir lions are roaming in villages and have attacked 3 kids so far. India is already the world's most populated country. People are bound to cut jungles to live. Now where will the animals go??? Look around for the increasing human-animal conflict. I am not such a big animal lover and seeing the situation around, I do not want more predators imported.
Suri sir start podcast about yr journey of wildlife photography
Thanks Gautam for this input- it's definitely food for thought.
Oh yes, you are right. Slip of the tongue. I suppose the right word is punarsthapit
Very nice explanation sir... I am interested in wildlife, I used to read Sir jim Corbett's book. Can u suggest me some books related to wildlife
Thank you Trishan for stopping by. Jim Corbett is everybody's favourite (mine too!). There are so many good authors on wildlife, and they are all worth exploring. You can start with the books of Kenneth Anderson, M Krishnan (he is one of the best, although it's a bit difficult to get his books) and Salim Ali, the Birdman of India (his autobiography The Fall Of the Sparrow is a superb read).
8 adult cheetah ki maut ho chuki hai ab kya bologe
True. Even more may die, but that's the cycle of life and death and no living being on earth is immune to it. In fact I have focussed this very aspect in the episode!
bhai india m cheetah extinct hogye h...and wapas se unhe as a part of forest bnane k liyeh itna aasan nahi h...8-10 yrs lgenge iss project ko safal banane m
Please view the story. 8-10 saal nahin, 30-40 saal lagenge. It will take several decades to ascertain whether the experiment to bring back cheetahs in India has failed or succeed.
Oh, that's okay Ryan Yadav ji. Commenting in any way, as long as it does not breach the boundary of decency and rationality, is all right. I believe in a healthy discourse in which opposite or contradictory views are also welcome.
♥♥♥♥
Thanks much
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Vinod!
Sir bahut accha video tha. Just a question sir once extinct cheetah if launched again wont it disturb the biodiversity of specific area?
Thank you for your appreciation. As for your inquisitive questions, cheetahs had been here in India for several centuries. Their absence of 60-70 years is a minor blip if you see their overall stay in the sub-continent. I think their launch will enhance the bio-diversity of the area. Of course, we will conclusively know about these things with the some meaningful passage of time.
Cheetahs India me grassland ko fir se revive karega, kyuki India me aur koi esi species nhi hai
👍
Thanks!

Thank you for your lovely observations and very apt suggestions. Yes, all these measures can be taken and these will further lift up the charm and significance of FRI.
