I have to say that I was playing tennis at Naushop this am and there were SEVERAL tradespeople in that development doing roofs and shingling etc and you could site a lot of instances in there for people NOT wearing masks. Please Select Board reinforce the local law with fines for violations. People have to take their own responsibility. Our summer visitors are more than welcome but they have to understand that they have to take their lives and others ‘s lives into consideration. You guys have given so many chances to everyone to comply with the order. I think that from now on, please do the reinforcement, otherwise Nantucket might face a new shelter in place order. That’s the worst for Nantucket economy. Local businesses have been doing their best and beyond to comply with the law, but some of their clients are not so helpful. Clients, summer visitors have to be serious about it. Nantucket full time residents have been doing so great during this time. Reinforce it now during summer time, please!

We all agree with wearing masks because we don't want to become infected. Problem is getting them. If there's a preference or an order, then a supply has to be available where one doesn't exist for a lot of people. Most of us are willing to pay for them.

My question is how do you know where they came from?

The initial surge of deliveries is going to be overwhelming and a lot of contractors will not be able to be supplied. Contractors should be able to pick up what can be loaded into a pick up truck. Assuming picked and set out for curb side pick up. Even that is going to be preferably on a per call for pick up basis when ready and times of day for separated pick ups.
