I just discovered the skra and really want to maybe try and get into this. It looks like a really fun hobby. You have any suggestions on getting a new kart just like those ones. What should I look up online

I'm not trying to be a know it all but I noticed getting into corners your having an issue. If you bring your front hubs out just a bit that should help. You just have slightly less coming off . Cool video !

What kind of kart are you running?

As low as $6000 used. About $13000 new. Probably $200 a night to run if nothing breaks. People in Cali dump some real money and time in their cars though

The block just failed. I thought it might have been from hitting the chip so much when I had the wrong gear early in the day, but my mechanic didn't think so. I do really want to come back. There is talk of trying to get a group of us to come down. 20+ on that track would be worth it.

Ha, flat out just ends up with a trip into the dirt. With more laps on the track I will be able to keep the hammer down a little more.

what happened to motor? you should come back out we have been getting 10 per race in WF lately and at the end of the month expecting 20+

@carlover8a Kalispell or Pablo would be good markets to try and sell it in. They still run 70s a lot in that area. I don't think it would make a good derby car as it has probably lightened up too much.

@carlover8a It is the same make and model as the car I am running in these videos. For our rules it was the best car you could have and I won a lot of races with it. If they allow shorter wheelbase cars at your track they will be tough but the '70 Chevy Impala is always a good car.

I just duct taped a camcorder to the rollbar. It helps to wrap it in foam to try to kill some of the vibrations.
