Your logic is a bit confusing. You're concerned about the influence of China, you're worried about an American civil war and you choose to go to a far-flung part of the United States that you admit could fall to China. If you genuinely believe things will only get worse in the US, then the idea of China taking de facto control of Saipan (through soft power or militarily) is practically inevitable. In this way, you're saying that being under the boot of the CCP seems more tolerable than living in the mainland US due to the politics of the mainland US. It's bizarre, but that's the point you seem to be making.

Have you tried Indeed work-at-home jobs? That's how I got my gig designing local newspapers in multiple states. There are many work-at-home jobs on Indeed. It just depends how flexible you want to be in your search.
