    I've noticed something phenomenal. At 3:21 look at both illustrations and look deep into the middle and move a phone closer to your eyes. Notice how the quasicrystal moves into the the momentum of space!!!

    Thanks to LASSP for inviting me to give this talk! At 30:53 Chao-Ming asked whether or not both reflection symmetries were necessary to restrict the quartic terms to what's seen in the action. After double checking, only the two translational symmetries and the rotational symmetry are necessary to generate these quartic terms. Breaking either reflection symmetry will have no effect on the action until sixth order.
