Scientific Adventures for Girls (SAFG), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, provides after school and summer STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) programs to young children with a special focus on girls and under served youth. SAFG's goals are to increase positive attitudes toward STEM in K-5th grade female students and to increase hands-on learning opportunities for girls everywhere (including in economically marginalized areas) to explore STEM concepts and encourage lifelong learning of STEM subjects.
Empowering Parents/Caregivers: Navigating AI in K-6 Education with Scientific Adventures for Girls
This webinar, led by experts in the field, is designed to support families to:
- Understand the positive role of AI in education and its benefits.
- Make informed decisions about integrating AI resources into their children's learning experiences.
- Actively engage in their children's education, including understanding and utilizing AI resources effectively.
- Address parent/caregivers concerns and challenges and provide strategies for navigating them.
- Prepare children for success in a technology-driven world.
- Understand the positive role of AI in education and its benefits.
