I love the Thorns perk. It effectively removes swarmers as a threat, except in really large numbers or while you're desperate for your shield to recharge. They turn from enemies that will shred you if you stand still and don't squash them, into super weak missiles that splatter when they deal their first bit of damage to you. They're weak either way, but a weak threat is still a threat. With Thorns, they're *NOTHING.*
Wow, that does sound pretty great. Will have to check that out next time around!

Hey there! As a frequent player and speedrunner, I haven't personally experienced that issue with recording Bleed 2 before, so could've been an error with the recording software. It stinks the footage ended up that way though. I tend to recommend keyboard and mouse for the Bleed games, since the controls are a bit more natural to handle. As a twin-stick platformer, it's a pretty rare genre, so a lot of people find jump on trigger to be weird before seeing why it's set as the default. Onto the major point of this though, co-op is a ton of fun! It changes up enemy positions, colors, and even the way some of the bosses work. I'd definitely say to check it out, and would love to see more! A lot of the unlockable characters are also fun to play as and have a few boss fights where attack patterns change completely too (though certain characters take some effort to learn). If you have the even slightest bit of interest in speedrunning, Bleed 2's New Game category is a great introduction to it, and the community's always welcoming to any new players. Hey, glad you liked the video! Yeah, it was definitely a recording software issue, not sure what caused it exactly. Oh well, sometimes these things just happen. I was using a single monitor at the time so I couldn't check the recording while I was playing. Had I been using two monitors I could have seen it before I played through the whole game 😅 I got used to the controller over time but yeah, I could see keyboard and mouse being easier to use. Co-op sounds like a lot of fun! I'm definitely going to do another video more focused on just bleed 2. Maybe try out some other characters as well and see what changes there are for each one.
