The day before I went kayak fishing and caught some fresh bait. Headed down to Virginia beach and put the fresh bait out on a slide. Not even 5min later i was tight. after fighting the fish for over a hour and walking a good few 100m down the beach, We remembered MEL was left on the pier alone so we bust the fish off to get back to her. SAFTY FIRST

Are PFD's/life jackets not legally mandatory in SA? I would feel really unsafe not wearing one especially going out wide
@@robhenson480 have a closer look when I face the camera to myself. Look closely at my shoulders. You will see I have a life jacket on. I wear my jacket under my shirt.

Any advice for a person who wants to start fishing from a ski? Idk where to start or which ski to even get.
There's alot to take it when starting. First thing is knowing how to swim. Also depending on your budget will determine what ski you looking at. Learning the sport is pretty easy there are loads of guys out there willing to help and teach guys getting into the sport. I can assist you where possible.

Thank for all my bru, hot stuff i like to get into. Few questions brother please tolerate me 1. Do i need any permits or license for the paddle ski to fish back line on our beaches were permitted. 2. Im i allowed to paddle ski fish in Durban harbor?
You will need a fishing license and a vessel license. Tick no1 on your fishing permit and no10 ( if I'm correct) that's your vessel license. Fishing in durban harbor you will need a transnet permit. You can get it by joining clubs around the harbor or joining DPSBC or DUC they will issue you with a portnet disk to fish the harbor
Do you think Eastmore are a better fit for a first timer doing kayak fishing, than say Westbrook
I've taken people for there first time at both places. If you doing a launch like that have someone with you that knows the water. Of you alone I won't recommend doing those launches. Get comfortable with your ski at vetches then go from there.

brand new it will set you back around 21k second hand they differ from 10 to 15k.but the pinnacle boost is a epic ski you wont go wrong.

How far did you drop the bait what trace and what bait
Don't need to drop far at DUC for Grey sharks. I used a 8/0 circle with 60lb wire about 1m long and a 5oz sinker

i love the pinnacle skis i have fished on a few different skis. the boost is the best by far

Yes there is. both are amazing skis the boost is alot quicker then the elite also
