Grace Baptist Church exists to honor and glorify God. We seek to be a light in a dark world. Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
We desire that every Sunday school class, every worship service, every hymn sung, every prayer uttered, every message preached be for God's glory and His glory alone. Plain and simple, our focus is Christ. We are but lampposts pointing the way. John 12:32 Jesus said, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."
At Grace Baptist, you will find Jesus Christ, God's beloved Son, if you are seeking Him. It will not be in the wonderful song service, or the great Bible preaching, or anything that man can contrive. It will be in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:4 "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power."

It amazes me, over and over and over again, when people like yourself say; "ALL WE CARE ABOUT IS THE WORD!" And then it's ALL a show of bearing false witness and twisting the Word. It's like I have to pick my jaw off the floor every time because I just can't keep believing it. I believe the Bible is Holy Spirit breathed for teaching, reproof, and key word, correction. Site is on the "About" feature and for direct links, "Community.

Amen!! - Lord Jesus, Let love rain, like sweet mercy from heaven. Let mercy flow like waves and waves flowing richly from the heart of God. May love arise ... may mercy come forth ... may love and mercy bring forth hearts of compassion. Compassion for the lost, compassion for the thirsty, compassion for the hungry, compassion for the poor, compassion for the homeless, compassion for others. Not in just words or deeds done, but from the depths of the heart seeking to give Glory to God through open arms embracing the needs of others. May we look with the heart of God. May we see with his eyes or mercy and compassion and may we do all things to His Glory. For the river of God is love, may it flow richly through us. For the river of God is sweet mercy, may it flow richly through us. For the river of God is compassion, may they see it in our eyes, hear it from our hearts and see it through open arms embracing the needs of others. ------ May we place others even before ourselves and love like Jesus.
