Thanks for sharing. How long does this surgery take?
Hi Dr, does this procedure help with reducing chronic Tinnitus?
Is it completely safe? How many days need for the total recovery ?
I just had one removed from my left ear 2 weeks ago, I get the packing removed in a couple of days. Even with the packing still in place, I can tell a difference with the tumor being gone.
Doctor i have a big problem..my right ear does not hear..then i done stapedectomy for that ear but it failed doctor said it cant recovery through surgery because nervous problem is in that ear..but my left ear can hear about 60% if i do stapedectomy for that ear if the surgery get fail will it lost my totally hearing or will it remains 60% level further...
Hi may i know the conditions of your hearing now?
Very nicely Explained
sir how much time it takes to get hearing back after surgery .. because it is almost 4 weeks of my stapedectomy surgery but i am not able to hear till now. please respond
@Birboot he said we have time for upto 6 months. Until then wait for it to recover.
@Birboot i will be uploading a full video on my stapedectomy surgery on my channel. After 5 - 6 days
@Birboot i dont know in db but test outcome says my left ear has no problem but right ear has 50% deafness.
I was told 4 to 6 weeks but I started hearing under two weeks.
Let me know how much does it take time for improve hearing after done this surgery
Most patients notice improvement in a few weeks. I check their hearing three months after surgery.
@@drkutz my mother has done this surgery 15 days ago...but still we cant see improvement of her hearing as we expected...does it take more days to improve her hearing ?
@@lakshithahashan4949 same happend with me .. it is almost 4 weeks now but i am not able to hear
@@yashrajtalks now its near 45 days completed for surgery..now she can hear around 25%
@@lakshithahashan4949then it is good news .. it will further improve for upto 3-5 months.
Amazing 🤩
The nerve anatomy overlays are very helpful (for a patient who is still building an anatomical understanding). The nerve stimulator demonstration is also very interesting!
Would a left tympanic facial nerve dehiscence be the cause of thumping in the left ear to noise in the right ear? What would cause the dehiscence? Thank you.
the use of nitinol wire is just amazing, what a perfect application.
Nice concise demonstration Sir. Better Heading should be Stapedotomy
Bravo
can we identify the labirynthine ? what's her relatioship to other contents in the Internal auditory canal from this surgical perspective ?
Fascinating! Thank you for posting.
Thank you sir
Enjoyed this video. It was helpful to have the yellow lines indicating where the nerves are are the anatomical markers. Also nice to have text telling what is happening. Thank you for not using annoying music. Duration of video is good to get the main removal of tumor. Video is clear. Does not include the opening and removal of bone which occurs in the early part of the surgery.
