This was my first TAR season (I had watched episodes of other seasons before here and there throughout the years), but since TAR was after Survivor, I thought, okay, I'll stick around to watch. I chose both of you as one of the teams I'd cheered for since I started learning ASL. Every week, I grew more fond of you both. I loved your fierce competitiveness, the ability to learn, adjust, and adapt quickly, and, more importantly, the love and support you both had for each other. It made me so happy to watch. It was disappointing to see you place third, but the fact is, you completed this race! That in itself was amazing! I loved this season so much that I watched it again for the second time. I loved you both even more. Because of your family, I want to keep learning ASL. (There's a Deaf community that I'd like to be more involved in. So far, I can sign a little with them.) I'd love to watch your RUclips recap videos without captions someday. I can understand some signs here and there, but I need to be more fluent. I hope I see you both again on TV! 🤟🏼

Yay! Thank you! I've been checking for this video for weeks! I was rooting for you all season! 🙂 I'm hearing and my junior high was the school that incorporated the deaf students. I had a deaf teacher who taught a Sign Exact English class. I loved that class and became best friends with one of the deaf girls who lived somewhat near me and attended the same junior high. The high school that incorporated the deaf students was too far, so we didn't get to spend as much time together then, but tried to keep in touch. I graduated from high school in '85 and I'm surprised I still remember some signs. Recently I got a signing dictionary and a video program and taught a basic sign class for our homeschooling co-op. It was fun.

This was an interesting finale video! Thanks for sharing your experiences. It's okay that both of you did not win The Amazing Race, but at least you had a great experience. 🙂 I'm so proud of you! You did it! 🥳🎉🎊 I am so grateful that you're part of a deaf community where you can inspire and encourage so many unique people through their journeys.

Throughout the race, I loved how you supported each other and were so positive -- the respect and love you showed each other was inspiring! It made me happy to know that there were fathers and sons like you out in the world. And also, how it looked like you were having so much fun. I was really rooting for you and wanted you to win. In the next to last episode, when I saw the preview for the finale and saw footage of you entering the area with the finish line, I could tell by your expressions that you didn't win, so I still haven't watched the finale episode! LOL I was so bummed out for you. You were a fantastic team to root for and yes, you have so much to be proud of. Also, don't forget there's that trip to Fiji was it? Tahiti? You won a trip to a place you've always wanted to go to. And that's a very cool thing.

Watching the latest TAR was a bright spot in my week more so than the previous TARs as I became a fan of y'all right off the bat (Loved the very first roadblock in LA!) . I hope there will be another "Unfinished Business" or All Stars TAR in the near future so I can see y'all again ::). Honestly I liked all 3 teams in the finale (rare) but picked you two as team 1. By the way- Love Corey's T-Shirt! Would love to get my hands on it as I'm Deaf (grew up oral then dove into ASL at Gallaudet).

Your teamwork, athleticism, strategies, and most of all your wonderful relationship was so inspiring and heartwarming to watch. I hope you both continue your broadcasts on some level. I studied ASL years ago pre-parenthood to learn a fascinating language. I enjoyed (and was challenged!) trying to follow your signing in my amateur way. Good luck on your next adventures and I’ll be rooting for you again on TAR!!

Met yall by union square park holiday market the week of the finale airing. So glad I got to meet yall and sign to you! I started learning ASL back in January in college and then continued in September after graduating. When my family and I saw there was a Deaf/CODA team we were SO excited. Your attitude and strategic thinking and awesome teamwork had us rooting for yall from the start! Great job 👏

It must be hard to process all those emotions when you can't discuss with people and few people in the world even know what happened. Glad to hear that getting to watch it surrounded by family and your new TAR friends helped. Hope to see you compete again and to see you come out winners next time.

I guess I should've watched this video before responding on your previous one since you addressed some things here that I asked about there. Very thorough summary. Thanks for providing us with a deeper understanding of the finale from your perspective.

How much later did you finish compared to the other teams?

You both did a great job either way. Just thought I would mention that the captions for Rob become progressively more out of synch with his signing through the video. Very delayed towards the end.

Even though you two didn’t win, I’m glad that you both see that there are many things that you should be proud of! I’m glad that Phil was able to tell you that you were both Team #1 on a leg, Phil never said you were eliminated, you guys climbed your way to the Experience Pass, you have a wonderful friendship with Greg and John that still lasts outside of the show, and Rob proved that it is possible to compete on the Amazing Race and make the finale , even if you have a hearing loss! After finishing this season of TAR, I actually watched old Survivor seasons, and in Survivor: Amazon, there’s a contestant named Christy Smith who is half deaf. Christy had her struggles, and she didn’t win, but still made it very far in the game. Once again, this proves that it is possible to get far on a reality tv show, even if you have a hearing loss! Congratulations to you both Rob and Corey you both worked hard on the Amazing Race, and will always have this wonderful experience to share and remember! P.S., I’m loving the classic headband Corey lol 😆

love you guys for influencing and educating about your racing and using ASL. amazing. I am Deaf and came from wonderful hearing family but knew little ASL. I am perfectly happy about my overcoming my navigation through Hearing world. I owed my 3 years experience using ASL at the Deaf School but went back to Hearing world with limitation of ASL accessibility. My hearing parent thought I should be back in mainstreamed school will be a better option for me. I am grateful for that because I Knew and embraced my ASL language to survive my high school years. I always talked to myself through ASL. ASL is the answer for all CODA, DEAF, and newly parent of Deaf/Hard of Hearing children!!!!!! ASL is amazing to help us overcoming our barriers.

Uguys fought really hard my mom and I loved u guys on the race hopefully u guys get the call someday again ❤
