Hi, what does the \delta P_gwb and \delta P_CAM5 mean at the video time around 10:40? Are they representing the same hurricane or not? How are they calculated?
\Delta P is the central pressure deficit -- the difference between the pressure at the outer edge of the storm and the pressure at the storm center. "_CAM5" is the true central pressure deficit in CAM5, and "_gwb" is the value predicted by integrating the gradient wind balance equation using the azimuthal-mean wind profile.
