Using some walnut cut-offs, I made an end grain cutting board just over one and three quarter inches thick. This was a gift for a neighbor.

Chris Makes - A Huge Mountain Mosaic - Part 2 -The Mosaic
Using cheap cedar planks, I lightly spray paint them different colors, cut them to size, char them for an aged look, and create a giant mountain mosaic that is 4' by 8' to fit a large empty wall in our house. While tedious, this was the cheapest option/ materials given the circumstances of COVID. Part 1 of the series details the creation of the metal frame.
Chris Makes - A Huge Mountain Mosaic - Part 1 - The Frame
This is part 1 of a 4 foot by 8 foot mountain mosaic to fill a very large wall in our house. Specifically, I make the frame which is constructed of 1.5 inch angle iron and treated with blackener. Usually, the blackener is wiped off as soon as the steel is black, but I let it dry for 24 hours to give a deep rusting/aging appearance. Part 2 will consist of making the mosaic to go in the frame.
Chris Makes - An Urn
My mother passed away on January 11th, 2019 and I decided to make her urn. Although it tugged on the heart strings, I'm glad I pushed through it and I'm sure it would have made her happy.
Chris Makes - A Rocking Horse
I decided to make a better version of a cheap rocking horse I bought from Amazon for my niece. The original was made of particle board and cheap plywood. It also lacked a mane and tail. I decided to remake it using ambrosia maple with oak handles and, of course, adding a mane and tail using yarn. I did, however, make several mistakes along the way. First, I used the band saw where I didn't need...
Chris Makes - Cutting Board Christmas Gifts

For Christmas this year, I decided to raid my scrap bin and make some cutting boards for friends and family. Since I didn't have enough scraps, I opted to use up some stock as well. They are made of walnut and ambrosia maple.
Chris Builds - Garage Shelves/Storage

When we bought the house, the only thing left in the garage was an old storage unit made from scrap wood and paneling. It was ugly and falling apart, so it was time to replace it!
Ideal. Pode fazer quantos tamanos quiser. ❤
Better put that jointer guard on.
The film is concrete to the point without unnecesery talk and music.
Grazie.

How much cost
It's been so long, I honestly don't remember exact numbers. I got the lumber from a local mill and the boards I used were probably a total of $100.
Super
This time I'll use woodprix to make it by my hand :)
Way to go!
Thanks, man!
Were your boards 1.5 inches thick?
