I owned this gun and liked it a lot. The only issue - my range was 100 yards and at that distance, even with the stock iron sights set as low as possible, it always shot quite high. You had to aim pretty much at the bottom of the target for the bullet to land near the bullseye.
Ruined it AND butchered it..... I'm glad I was able to get a sporter for 250 otherwise they're over 800 in canada

They were introduced in the 1800s to start a fur trade here in New Zealand. Since then possums have been causing significant damage to the New Zealand eco system. Possums will eat flightless birds, eggs, sprouts of native bush, lizards, etc. Possums are also one of the main animals that spread tuberculosis here in New Zealand.

Well I’ll use my lever it’s to good. I use my bolt in rim fire a lot due to lighter weight options!

Looo up the remmington model 341 in 22lr, very old guns but man do they give me the fizz when shooting. Similar to lever actions, the action is externally unique (it was patented by remmington and has yet to be used in another bolt action since). I’ve had very few jams with that rifle, and something about watching that lifter grabbing 22 from the tube is just great to see and feel.
Lever actions definitely a fun time and can propose for a bit more fun in my opinion; although nothing beats sitting/laying down and taking your time with a good ol’ bolt action.
Making me wanna put away the ol’ 22 and start rockin these; it’s a hard one.
