You want a clean setup without arrows? Put all your icons on the taskbar. Nothing's cleaner than that.

i did it and for sometime it was fine and then after windows updated, all desktop and taskbar icons were invisible. i tried all solutions but later i revert this setting back and now my PC is fine.
