Ive been spraying WD 40 on all my vehicle battery terminals for over 40 years to keep corrosion off . We also used it inside the pigtail connecters on tractor trailers and dollys to clean off corrosion and get a good connection especially in winter .

I failed @68 times.. next time will be success.

i been saying this for years, used it on my bike as a kid and found it got rid of the dirty grease but left the metal dry. you have to reapply clean grease
