Danish Army Rifle Test SRS 233 B-Niveau part 4 of 4
I haven’t touched a rifle in several years, so I thought this would be fun to try out, now I had the chance.
So this is part 4 of 4.
Manipulations
Start at 27m, move to 25m, shoot 2 shots at chest A-Zone, 1 shot at hip A-Zone on all targets, starting with the middle target.
Perform a speed reload when necessary, from open bolt.
Magazines are loaded with between 4-7 rounds each. Buddy loads the mags so shooter doesn’t know how many are in the rifle.
Obviously I just mixed some mags and put them in a pile.
9 rounds each string, for a total of 45 possible hits on the targets
Par time 14 seconds
Repeat 5 times.

I was wondering what this rifle is in the united states it may have a different name? is this the same as the Colt Canada MRR rifle ?
This is the C8IUR. This is the first version we got. The current issue rifle we have is the C8IURV4, which looks a lot like the MMR, regarding the handguard rail piece. But ours are not M-Lok compatible as far as I know and the forward rail sections on ours are molded into the rail, not attached like on the MMR.
@@tacticaldk thank you
er det din egen private rifle ?
@@caspertorp2497 Nej, udleveret.
Not sure that holster is big enough
He just has a small frame.
Yeah it’s kinda big. Try to take a look at the Safariland Vault too. :)
@megaman010391 I appreciate that comment, since I’ve dropped 30kg.
is that a P320?
Yes it is. The Danish military runs them too. The Xcarry.
@@DuramaxCoUnTrYcheers nice work by the way.
Where do you find magazines for the P210 in your country? Do you have a link I need some magazines.
Hey man, sorry I haven’t seen your comment until now. I really don’t have a clue where to get P210 mags as this was an issue gun and magazines.
@@tacticaldkNo I know that but in your country do you have or know of a website/store that sells original mags for the P210?
@@357stoitch7 Hunters House in Copenhagen would be my best guess.
I have yet to see anyone doing the thing the proper way - with irons. Got to seek elsewhere.
Who makes the first plate you take out of the Airlite? The one with half of the corner cut out…
Mehler Vario gmbh (German) Plate was a special order from Danish Army SOF around 2000-2001 I believe.

Ja
Rigtig sej, hvor får man dem her?
Et godt sigte (når øjnene ikke mere er til 300 meter med et Aimpoint), men lidt dyrt (-;.....................how are you?
hi, i have a question, or find a plate carrier M/12?
Was one of those guys using an M6? So PMCs had access to high-end rifles even back then?
The weapons here were all M4’s, everyone could modify to their liking, but the base model was a Bushmaster M4. I have used both old AK’s and highly modified M4’s and everything in between at various companies.
@@tacticaldk what about the HK416? Could they be found in any appreciable numbers?
Around that time period, no. Only select mil units had them then.
Would Botach 10 by 12 ceramic plates work with the air light SPC? It’s my understanding the Airlight is more forgiving in receiving different plate sizes. I’m wondering if a small, medium, or large would make a difference in taking a 10 by 12 plate. Also, if I ordered a medium plate carrier, would a small cummerbund fit?
What TQ holder is that?
Are you still using this carrier? If not I’m interested in buying your plate covers.
Nope, sold last year.
I've got some questions, can you help me? The only size I could find in Europe is size L and I am willing to use this plate carrier with 300x250x21 mm UHMWPE plates, do you think this size will fit them well? I saw that you have a medium, but then again, you might know about the sizing, thanks in advance.
Stefan Ochisor The plates you have are medium. They might fit fine in the large carrier, I don’t think they would be loose, since the elastics that hold the plates can be tightened.
@@tacticaldk Thanks for getting my hopes high, I will try it nontheless, if it's too large for them well, I'll send it back and request for a refund.
Nice video 👍
'..That ride look's fucking scary to me..Sitting open target..!! Was it a check-point, slowing down on the highway..?
Apparently we have different ways of looking at things :) Yes, that was an Iraqi Army check point on top of the fly-over.
Hi , does this have a nsn ?
Which one? TYR Pico MVW DA does, it should be on the TYR website. The Crye EK01 I have no idea.
tactical.dk is what are the tyr pico has it?
I noticed the plate bag covers, is that something that is included with the SPC, If so that is dope. I was worried that my plates would be bare through the laser cut molle slots. Is this ordered through Crye or another manufacturer? My concern is only this and I’ll jump aboard. Otherwise I’d have to spend the extra for an out of market seller on those.
I don't think the covers come with the SPC. Anyway you could just throw some 90mph tape on your plate along the one row of open slots if you are running dayglo orange plates ;)
tactical.dk If the plate bag covers don’t come with the SPC, then where did you order from? I can’t find those covers anywhere online.
@@anthonyirish8975 This is not an SPC, this is the old EK01 Airlite, 1st Gen airlite plate carrier.
How do you attach mag pouches on it?
It takes regular Molle pouches
@@tacticaldk I understand that, but those loops look somewhat large to me. Is it compatible with all molle grear? Let's say I'm planning on attaching HSGI TACO M4/AR-15 mag pouches on to it. Will it keep them in place firmly?
Yes
@@tacticaldk So you don't need to buy any additional gear for that, right? I mean their website recommends getting AIRLITE® STRUCTURAL CUMMERBUND and AIRLITE® DETACHABLE FLAP, MOLLE , but from what I understand those items aren't necessary for attaching mag pouches, correct?
This is the 1st gen Airlite PC. What you are takling about is the 2nd gen.
Nice! Dot makes a difference. I’ve become a believer after quals like these.
Got so thirsty after watching this!!! Good video!
What is this video about?
How to care for your gore-tex clothing.
Which plate carriers have you tried?
I have done a bit of a write up on Tactical.dk of some of the various gear I have used over the last 30 years. It’s in Danish, but google translate might make it understandable in English www.tactical.dk/2017/11/06/erfaringer-efter-30-aar-som-grejluder/
Thanks! It was doable with Google translate (not a lot of text does help :) Is there a difference in comfort between the jpc and the airlite? Because both seem to have the same, unpadded shoulder straps and no plate-pocket-padding
Depending on a few factors. How heavy are your plates and how much weight do you carry on your carrier? Both are minimalistic plate carriers, the Airlite more than the JPC obviously. Padded shoulder pads are not needed if you run lightweight plates and minimal gear on your carrier. My plates weight 1.2 kilo each. I only run 3 mags, a CAT TQ and a 2 Liter water bladder on my carrier. So the Airlite is suitable for this. The entire point of my load out videos was to see how light I could go, while still carrying bullets, water and a TQ. I run a belt kit with all my other gear, more ammo, grenades, pyro, radio, medical gear and a small utility pouch for various items. So, why go with a ultra light plate carrier setup? Because your hips are the better load carrying platform than your shoulders and upper body, you get less tired and in the long run (Years) your body will be in better shape. Less wear on your lower back spine discs, will make your life in your 40’s and up more tolerable. As you can see in my article I have run pretty heavy setups before, and experience has led me to go for a lightweight setup. Learn to shoot better, carry smarter, move faster and don’t get injuries due to too much crap carried on your upper body.
Where did you get yours from?
I don’t remember. From an Ebay store.
The fact that you had to point out the tripple mag pouch on the crye when the tyr have 9
You’re missing the point. It’s a comparison of a minimalist Crye plate carrier vs Tyr’s with lots of built in pouches. The extra materials on the Tyr and armor is heavier. With more pouches, you carry more gear on your upper body. This creates more pressure on your lower spine. This compress your spine. Carrying weight like this, will wear on your body more over time, than carrying weight on your hips will. When you get older you will start to get lower back problem faster than if most of your weight has been carried by your hips. Also it was a test to see the comparison of materials water retention. Because of the more built in pouches of the Tyr, I left the pouches on the Crye from and back on. If you go back in the other videos I did you will see a trend of videos dealing with weight comparisons of different items typically carried. I did these videos to make people think. The less weight you carry, the faster you are in a gunfight. The less tired you will get. I used to run with 8-10 mags of 7.62 for the M/75. I have also run with 10-12 mags of 5.56 for the M/95, M/96 and my M4. Also 10 mags of 7.62 for my AK. Along with heavier body armor than what we have today. This was when I was younger and didn’t know anything, really. Today I’m in my mid 40’s and deal with back problems that my doctor trace directly to carrying too much weight on the upper body. Like I mentioned, I made those videoes just to make people think about how much they carry and where the weight is.
Great video! You should do a review on the crye airlite and setup recommendations
