I tried the Georgia mobile drivers license. Then it says it’s not valid to show the police. I was all excited to use it at tsa pre-check. There’s signs all over the place advertising it. When I get up to TSA pre check in ATL, they weren’t sure what I was talking about and had to get show my physical DL. I even pointed to the signs advertising mDL. What a disappointment. I went back to the facial scan for the next flight. Maybe online sites will start using the mDL standard when proof of identity is required. Anyway great show and congrats on hitting 300!

You asked for listener suggestions in comments? My vote would be to add a women and Eve Maler (xmlgrrl) would be my person to put up there. Instrumental in standards, especially around SAML2 early days.

Thank you for this and all episodes! I’m pretty new to the podcast and I’ve heard you mention before that one of the keys to the podcasts success is consistency with episode releases. I just wanted to say that as a newcomer I very much appreciate that consistency!

What kind of certifications is Jim talking about? Here in Norway, we don't have any "non-product" certifications. The only institute I know of is the Identity Management Institute but I'm not sure how relevant they are here in Norway / in Europe.

I'm very surprised by that 97-98% estimate. Especially in the enterprise i feel like there is still a lot SAML out there, especially with Orchestration tools helping businesses hold on to those legacy apps

...that's their problem, not mine. LOL
