👍👍
One of the most beautiful places I have ever been
That was the gnarliest crossing on my 2019 HST hike. I spent about five mins working off the pine branches at the start that kept hanging my pack. Still makes me sweat.
I would have crossed it again tomorrow next Crabtree ranger station. But thanks to Hurricane Hilary, I’m at Yosemite instead. I was remembering this one.
😍😍😍
Love it!! Love Yosemite too! Just subscribed! 😊
Thank you
Are there any bear encounters returning from Lower Yosemite falls to the Bus shuttle? How long must you wait for the shuttle bus back to the parking lot? Thanks
Last year, I ran into a bear cub and it’s mother very close to the bus stop at lower Yosemite falls. I say it’s rare, but can happen. Which parking lot are you talking about? Waits for the shuttle depends on the lines. On a busy day, you may have to wait multiple buses to get in, so an hour or so. On a less busy day, a few minutes perhaps.
Hello you 🤗🤗💓❤.Keep in touch Channel❤
Anybody hiking in the rain at Yosemite? I'll be there next week and it looks like it's going to rain.
It’s on and off rain, I just got back today. Waterfalls are flowing like crazy!
@@13Andy1369 nice, yeah I bet, with the water flow up from all the rain/snow this year. Probably a once in a lifetime thing to see the waterfalls that strong. Someone commented on another video they hadn’t see water flow like that for decades.
@@andrewfeazelle definitely agree! Enjoy and be safe
The thing to watch out for is thunderstorms and lightning. So long as you’re not exposed at a peak after noon, you should be fine. Just stay dry. This is not the year to hike with trail runners.
@@anands.photography for sure! I'm bringing a rain shell jacket, rain pants that go over your normal hiking pants, a poncho, waterproof gaiters, gortex hiking shoes, sandals for places on JMT where the runoff makes pools deeper than my hiking shoes, a merino wool base layer shirt, merino wool underwear, a polyester fleece midlayer, and Columbia quick drying hiking pants. I'll put a trash bag liner in my pack and also try to utilize the pack's rain shell if needed. I was going to bring a phone gimbal for smoother videos but if it's constantly raining I think I'll just do some quick shots via my hands.
Just watched this video, thanks for sharing! Great images of Cathedral Peak and Columbia Finger, but I noticed that you didn’t take much video on that hellacious climb up Rush Creek. 😉
Ah, we did take some photos and videos but aesthetically they didn't fit in :). Thanks for watching :).
Super. Lived through it
looks scary
The video is beautiful! What kind of camera did you use and how to keep so steady?
Dusy Basin not ducy.
Sunrise NOT sunset!!!
Excited to try this backpacking app!
Nice video slo pokes!!
How many other campers did you run into? Any bear scare?
Wow so beautiful
Very well made. Thanks for sharing.
How many miles till you get to the blowout?
GoSlo Backpackers oh ok. How do you get to the place at 12:18 in the video? How many miles to that place from the start of the trail?
GoSlo Backpackers what’s the name of the trail? I’ve seen friends that go there and I really wanna get to that rocky tunnel structure at 12:18. Take a bunch of videos and pictures
GoSlo Backpackers how do you get a pass? I’m planning on staying at Visalia for 1 night, and then driving to that trial the next morning
Just watched the first 1:20 minutes. Loved it. Will watch it when I get home.
lovely video
