It was a great privilege to have met Rosanne and served on the prayer team with her. I remember how delighted I was that I had her in my little ministry team prayer group. I thought she was by far the coolest person at the conference.

She was an amazing woman of God and I was blessed to be able to serve with her.

@11:33, the video says: "But, atonement, or purification, could only be achieved through the priestly ritual of sprinkling sacrificial blood to remove the sins of the people", which is true to a point. The blood purifies the objects "FROM" the sins of the people. However, based on the statement just prior to that ("Because, the High Priest was required to make atonement or purify the Holy Sanctuary, the Tabernacle, the altar, the priests, and the entire congregation of the people of Israel."), it sounds as if you mean that the priest sprinkled blood on the people and thereby purified--i.e. removed the sins from, i.e. made atonement with--the people. This is incorrect. Please read the text. The sprinkling of the altar, etc. purifies those objects because they have been contaminated by the sins of the people. See Lev. 16:16: "thus he shall make atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleannesses of the people of Israel, and because of their transgressions, all their sins; and so he shall do for the tent of meeting, which abides with them in the midst of their uncleannesses." No blood is sprinkled on the people--you are thinking of the covenant ritual--and if the blood of the first goat being sprinkled on the altar, etc. purified the people, how are there any sins left to put on the scapegoat? The atonement for the people, and the High Priest, comes in vs. 24: "and he shall...offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people." Burnt offering--not blood. The doctrine of penal substitutionary atonement is 11th century paganism. There is a reason that the crucifixion took place on Passover, and not Yom Kippur.
